afraid. Not great for me. it was 1200 quid yesterday and a quick search on the hotdeal shows its going down to 1150 on occasion but it pops down to 1200 every month or so.
Not really a good deal when new cx models are out next month and with the Corona economic crisis prices are likely to fall further

They're sending out emails and cancelling orders for those made with Richersounds yesterday, I just got mine now...but you are right in regards to the price dropping further
Genuine question will TV prices fall during Covid19. I would expect there would be an impact on production and consumption will probably go up as people are at home and will look to upgrade their TVs.

"Dear VIP Club member,

Thank you for your order.

Unfortunately, the ‘Spring100’ voucher you used that was posted on Hot UK Deals was invalid. We are investigating the technical glitch that enabled your order to be processed, and apologise for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, we have cancelled your order and refunded any payment.

Again, we’re very sorry that we’ve been unable to complete your purchase in this instance and hope you’ll choose to place another order with us.

Best wishes,

Phil, Web Sales Manager"

Thats the email I received, by the sounds of it the voucher was only supposed to work for certain accounts and not for the general public.

You are probably correct, TV production will go up for people to upgrade.

But I think people is more concerned about buying households things of food etc.. so money will go to supermarkets. Other shops are not making profit at the moment so they will need to drop prices to meet targets.

According to kagoo, price will drop for 65 C9 in the next 2 weeks but about £200. So it will go down to about £1750 which is still not the best price. I am hoping it will drop to about £1500 for 65 C9 and £1000 for 55 c9 in the next 2 or 4 coming weeks.

I might be wrong, will see.

How was it a glitch when it was put on their website "enter code" spring100" for £100 off". It even said it under the lg models. It sounds like a ridiculous excuse from RS. It wasn't a glitch, they just underestimated how popular it would be.

Everyone is losing their jobs. People won't be buying 65 inch TVs costing 2000 quid. Also euros and Olympics cancelled. Trust me prices will go down
WOW why are people over exaggerating this so much, Everyone is not losing there jobs or every country would be in turmoil and we would have no food, water, electricity gas etc. 99.9% of people will get through it fine, it's only the very old or people with current health problems that will suffer.

I don’t want to turn this into another COVID discussion but this definitely isn’t over exaggerated the fact that people are still thinking it is, is the biggest problem this country faces at the minute and with regards to it only affecting the very elderly simply isn’t true 40% of Americans hospitalised are aged 20-54.
Heat added for the deal.
xp320022/03/2020 19:16

In what respect?

Everything you said, its a deadly pandemic i wouldn't trust anything they are saying.

Heat for the deal.

1 million jobs projected to be lost this month in America alone.
Before jumping on the bandwagon read what was stated and my reply, A comment was made EVERYONE is going to lose there Job, how can anyone know this? Yes people will be laid off but not everyone that's nonsense, The world has had many many deadly diseases over the years and guess what the human race survived. 80% of cases are mild and people get over it in 2 weeks
