Never buy ex display oled

Not voting cold but don't think I'd ever buy an oled display model. Prone to burn in. Will have been displayed at store settings which if did this yourself would last a year before failing. Maximum brightness for an example.

voting cold as the B7 was £1350 new recently and the E7 are not much more.

2016 models have had a few issues with screen burn aswell. I hope 2017 don't have the same issues because retailers and LG haven't been repairing under warranty. 😳

Totally agree if you don't know what to look for. This would be ideal for someone who knows what to look for.

Never buy ex display oled

Why?

Apparently there’s been some issues with this one regarding burn in reading the AVF forum.

Why?

Prone to screen burns. The display models will have had the same media running through them from day 1 and on top of that most shops turn all power off to the TVs once they close which means oled TVs cannot go through their 'cleaning' process in stand by.

This year's model E7 was on offer for 1499. This is last year's ex display model. This deal is ice cold. I'd rather buy used off ebay then an ex display oled. This is such a bad deal.

Only cost me £100 more for this years model (E7N), brand new with a 5 year warranty.

careful guys..the screen might crack with the freezing temperature

Received it about two weeks ago. It's awesome! Stunning picture quality. Beautiful aesthetics with picture on glass. Even the motion remote control is brilliant and Web OS is great for watching YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, etc. The sound bar is very good but if you want surround sound I'd recommend a separate sound system.

Great stuff! Did you have to do any calibration/tuning? What would you say the best thing is about the TV? Cheers

Sorry op but i really wish i could vote cold more than once
