Posting this as although you can save £200 buying just the TV elsewhere, this free soundbar offer is worth much more than that, if you're looking to add one to your TV at time of purchase.

Also need to factor in this TV doesn't come with a stand (extra) designed to be wall mounted, so if that isn't feasible for you, then there may be an extra cost

The G2 ensures an exceptional and immersive 4K HDR viewing experience on LG's renowned OLED screen, with in-built Gallery design giving you seamless flush-to-the-wall mounting for a stylish 'picture at an exhibition' look. It features the brand's OLED evo technology, combining supreme contrast, 100% colour accuracy and pixel-perfect detail with the a9 Gen5 AI 4K processor, plus Brightness Booster tech. Use the award-winning webOS smart platform to stream shows from such apps as Netflix and Prime Video*, and you can interact by voice with both the Google Assistant and Alexa built in. It comes with the flush-fit wall mount built in, and does not include a tabletop stand.

4K OLED Screen
The pixels of the Organic LED display are self-illuminating, adjusting independently, for true depth and colour gradation. This 4K OLED screen produces impeccably deep blacks, bright whites, and scintillating colour. This revolutionary technology has been mastered by LG for stunning picture quality, and from any angle.

4K UHD resolution with Dolby Vision HDR
This screen has four times the number of pixels than Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. High Dynamic Range expands light, dark, and every colour in between for a picture that's closer to real life. This set supports multiple HDR formats including Dolby Vision.

a9 Gen5 AI processor 4K
LG's processor, the brain of the TV, automatically detects and optimises the content you are watching for a superior picture and sound experience.

Exceptional cinema and sport experience
Exceptionally sharp pictures, crystal-clear sound and the deepest black levels, plus Filmmaker Mode, deliver movies as the director intended, for an immersive cinematic experience. And with uncompromised image quality at any angle, and the smoothest motion no matter how fast the action, it brings the intensity of the sporting spectacle into the home.

Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos sound
Together, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos audio ensure even more immersive entertainment, providing awe-inspiring drama to every genre.

Powerful gaming
Ideal for next-gen consoles, get the competitive edge in gaming with 1ms response time and accelerated processor speeds. Plus pro-tools like HDMI 2.1, G-Sync, High Frame Rate (4K/120p), Variable Refresh Rate and Game Optimiser options.

Eye comfort display
OLED provides safer and more comfortable viewing, thanks to flicker-free technology and certified low blue light levels, for less fatigue to the eyes over the longer watch.

webOS smart platform
LG's award-winning webOS platform revolutionises how you experience your entertainment. With quick and easy content discovery and switching, there's more entertainment available than ever before. You can stream from all the most popular services like Netflix, NOW TV, Prime Video, Disney+, Twitch, and more.*

Voice control & smart compatibility
This TV has the Google Assistant and Alexa built in, so you can get answers to questions while you're watching TV, and control compatible smart home devices.

Gallery design
The G2 features a super thin wall-mounted design that enables your TV to sit flush on your wall and merge seamlessly into the home while also making a bold statement. It comes with a built-in flush fit wall mount, and does not include a tabletop stand (though one could be bought separately).

LG G1 Soundbar

LG's G1 soundbar has been developed specifically with the 55" LG G1 OLED Gallery Design TV in mind (TV sold separately). Complementary in design, the G1 pairs perfectly with the TV's OLED screen's supreme visuals to provide a pristine audio-visual experience. This 3.1 channel system houses total audio power of 360W, with a wireless subwoofer to add powerful bass. Three-dimensional Dolby Atmos and DTS:X ensure a fully immersive and cinematic sound experience.

Cinematic 3D sound with Dolby Atmos & DTS: X
The G1 supports surround sound technologies Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to recreate a cinematic experience in the home. They create a three-dimensional sound-stage by firing sound vertically and horizontally for fully immersive audio.

AI Sound Pro
The upgraded AI Sound Pro algorithm automatically adjusts and optimises sound for every scene.

Wireless subwoofer
The separate subwoofer provides bass and sub-bass frequencies that bring your entertainment to thrilling life. And because it connects wirelessly with the main soundbar you have greater flexibility on where to position it for maximum impact.

Bluetooth, HDMI, Optical connections
With Bluetooth you can pair up your smart device simply and wirelessly to stream your music to this soundbar's amazing sound-stage. HDMI and Optical ports ensure high quality wired connections.

Matches the G1 TV
Wall-mounted directly below the 55" G1 Gallery Design TV (sold separately) it matches seamlessly with a flush-fitting and slim profile.

Expandable
Add optional LG SPK8 rear speakers (sold separately) for the fully cinematic surround sound experience.

Not a bad deal - if you do not need the soundbar, you might get around £300 for it on ebay.

Unless something really good pops up, I'm going to wait for the G3 to be officially announced/released and see what prices the G2 goes down to (or act like a kid in a sweetshop and end up buying the G3!)

Me too. Got them from RS for 2,049, including 6 year warranty on both G2 65” and the GX sound bar.

I bought this same deal from John Lewis only around about a month ago for £1600 and we are well happy for the money. Great TV that supports all our needs, the sound bar delivers good sound and looks really cool nice and flush to the wall like the TV. It's only 3.1 but has a nice wide sound and supports Dolby Atmos, we also bought the LG SPK8s rear speakers making it 5.1 surround. Watching movies in 5.1 dolby Atmos UHD look and sound amazing we only have the bar set to volume14/15 for movies and 10 for normal TV and it's well loud enough. I'd say this is a bargain it's a 2022 flagship TV that retailed at £2400 on release with a sound bar that retailed at £800 totalling £3200 on release. This is a bargain IMO and well worth pulling the trigger if your after a top TV and decent sounding matching sound bar, it's a thumbs up from me. (edited)

You bought about a month ago from John Lewis for slightly more?
Just in case it was within the last 35 days, you can claim a refund of the difference to the current price. While JL no longer price match competitors, they still price match themselves within 35 days.

I want a 65” Oled what’s the best price you can get on one ? Is the bracket good on this ? It’s included ?
    TechFiend's avatar
    TechFiend
All depends on which OLED you want. The bracket is included, but it's designed more to be flush mounted. Have a look on YouTube.

Which is better? g2 or a95k?

Also, weren’t currys doing this for around £1200 last month? (edited)

A95K not sure any 2022 OLED beats it as an overall TV out of the box although all the flagship Oled's of the different manufacturers offer something different or has something missing to each other, for instance my Sony doesn't do HDR10+ but Samsung does, but it does do Dolby Vision which Samsung doesn't and so on

On the face of it looks like a good deal with £999 soundbar, however, only 3.1 sound, sub does not reach very deep and quickly distorts. Whilst it will offer better sound than the TV and it is unobtrusive with its slim profile, personally I'd be looking for something that can deliver a decent surround/atmos experience at this money.

I have the G1 on a very similar deal last year. The sound bar is still in the box as I'm using a Sonos beam 2 and Sonos sub. wife keeps nagging me to install the GX but can't bring myself to do it and you have now convinced me I'm doing the right thing. Cheers

Seen a few of the soundbars up for sale already on Facebook marketplace and Gumtree, with adverts mentioning it came free with TV.
A few advertising that will come with 6 year RS or 5 year JL warranty but can't see how can pass the warranty on these to a buyer if you were selling the soundbar, as they'd have no proof of purchase which would surely be required. Unless I'm missing something.
Considering deal myself based on selling soundbar but can't see how can buy bundle online then pass the soundbar warranty on to buyer.
