Quite a lot of money for 2017 model, isn't it? It's a hell lot of great TV though. I got 55" of E series last year and must say, I love to watch my TV.

I would say it isn't, it's the cheapest it's ever been, and I think 2017 Ferrari cars and Rolex watches are still pricey...what I mean is, things don't become obsolete as soon as the calendar flicks over. These were still been made well into 2018 too.

Old tech. I would happily pay a little more you get the latest

The panel is exactly the same as this years tech. The only difference is the processor they use in 2018 vs 2017. Its around 30% faster allowing LG to run some more image processing. But if you're feeding it good 4K content to begin with I dont think the processing matters...

You would happily pay more for me to get the latest? Thanks!
Great TV, I paid £1999 this time last year for the same model. The picture quality is stunning as are the blacks!

I swapped up from a 5 year old 55". Its amazing how quickly you get use to a larger Tv and even take it for granted. I paid £1000 for a 32" CRT 25 years ago, God know how much that would be in todays money

That would be £1978.51 equivalent for your CRT, Jerry.
