Yes, lets make it about my mistake of thinking LG is 2017 model, instead of the fact that panny is top shelf and was one of very best sets of 2018 according to all reviews (at around £2500) while this LG is BASIC model but more expensive.

Do you normally get on the defensive when YOU make a mistake and someone else points it out ?

And let's say the Panasonic is a better TV,that's no reason to overlook about you giving incorrect information.

I didn't know that I had to provide detailed information about both TV's if I wanted to point out your mistake.

You got your facts wrong and now try and twist it around like I'm doing something wrong, grow up !

As for giving out information, well would you like me to supply you with a link to all my LG OLED videos that i have made, the ones that gives tens of thousands of viewers helpful information .

I've heard about your video's before, could you send me a link. Thanks
99% of people will be very happy with this TV or the similar Panasonic.

My sister has just bought an LG Nanocell LED dude to her partner being a heavy gamer and paid £800. Straight away she was expecting much more and knew my mothers B7 OLED looks so much better.

My point is, the gap between different OLED manufacturers is minimal due to the panels all coming out of the same factory at LG Display. The difference between OLED vs LCD is huge.

Yeah sure mate, give me 5 minutes and I will PM you

The Panasonic FZ952 doesnt have Dolby Vision, Atmos and suffers from frame stutter.

Strangely enough its also quite a lottery getting a straight non kinked panel or one that hasn't got fair ground mirror screen reflections

Menus look positively archaic. Dated TV as soon as it was launched unfortunately.

One to avoid if you can.....

Hi mate,

I will pm you when I'm home and send you some videos as some of them give tips that can help prevent burn in and also I have done some real world bright room tests to show what the TV is like in such environments.
That’s great
thank you

If you watch news channels a lot and have a bright room, then just go for a LCD. Even with only a low chance of burn-in, it's the paranoia about it that will take the enjoyment out of the TV, and you'll start simply avoiding stuff you'd otherwise watch (news channels) because you're worried about burn-in.

Biggunspaul has a useful tip video on zooming in on news channels to crop the logo and ticker out (I've been doing this!), but if you're the kind of person who might have Sky News on for 2 hours in a row, several days a week, then go for a LCD panel.
Sorry which 2018 Panasonic 65" are we comparing this to and where? Cheers

Yeah I’d echo this.

If you are the type that would worry about burn in all the time then probably best to go for something else as there is no point spending your hard earned on an OLED if it’s going to turn you into a bag of nerves.
Thank you to both immoraliste and Biggunspaul. I really like the LG and have pricematched both the C8 and B8. I will watch all the videos I have received but maybe your comments are correct and I should stick to an LCD for peace of mind. Shame as the LG looks great and the price is becoming very reasonable. Will need to find a comparable QLED for around the £1000 mark

thanks again
