Either 55" C9 drops to 1K or this. Which ever is first I will grab that one. Otherwise happy to wait until next year as PS5 won't be out until then anyways.
Aren't the C versions usually better?

Yeah nice. I've still got my C6 it's still going strong
Thought that image was of two cord carpets now blown up realise not.
Mini LED is here, it's not quite micro-led or OLED with per pixel illumination

It's a compromise between LCD and OLED, brightness of LCD and almost the colour, contrast and blacks of OLED without screen burn or natural degeneration of OLED

There's 25,000 mini LED which is far higher than normal LCDs meaning far better contrast and reduction of blooming

Backlight illumination is far more accurate than Full Array Local Dimming as the backlight resembles the image rather than large dimming zones

TCL is the first to release this tech with 65" for $2000

Tempted, but will this go down Black Friday or after Christmas? Be a real kick in the teeth if it were to considerably drop in price in the next 6-8 week
B9 or C9 - can you really tell the difference?
Need to get a 65" TV and no idea which one to get, wondering whether you can actually tell the difference b/w all these different TVs when watching

It's probably worth going for a demo. I can tell the difference myself, but some people won't.

Only since the b8 series. Before that it just meant a different stand or curved.

My C6 had 3d and the b6 doesn't. Also different hardware I just wondered about the new ones.
What is a grantee?
Man! Just got this for £1799, two days ago I did use the 12 months Buy now pay later so the code probably wouldn’t have worked.
The size and picture quality is absolutely stunning. And the black levels are VANTA Black dark. Worth every penny

Give them a call. They price match for the following 7 days. I got it for £1999, price matched £1999 with Crampton and Moore with their 10% code which dropped it to £1799. They both then dropped to £1799 sticker price and the Facebook code on Crampton and Moore was still live dropping it to £1619. RS matched it. I did the buy now, pay in 12 months too. Get on it.
Question: this model at £1439 would you bite or wait for the C9 On Black Friday?

Got a 20% offer on one from Very. But a bit hesitant to bite.

Im sure we are all getting ripped off on new TV's. I have an old panasonic Plasma that is far better build quality and picture is still superb. That was about £750 and pretty near top of the range 6 years ago. I dont see how Tv's are suddenly £2k .

What’s the 20% offer? Can see there’s a 10% one but can’t find the 20

It’s a personal code I received in the post to entice me in to buying something again as I haven’t for a while. Sorry.
