The C2 ensures an exceptional and immersive 4K HDR viewing experience on LG's renowned OLED screen. It features their OLED evo technology, combining supreme contrast, 100% colour accuracy and pixel-perfect detail with the a9 Gen5 AI 4K processor and Brightness Booster tech. Use the award-winning webOS smart platform to stream shows from such apps as Netflix and Prime Video*, and you can interact by voice with both the Google Assistant and Alexa built in.

4K OLED Screen
The pixels of the Organic LED display are self-illuminating, adjusting independently, for true depth and colour gradation. This 4K OLED screen produces impeccably deep blacks, bright whites, and scintillating colour. This revolutionary technology has been mastered by LG for stunning picture quality, and from any angle.

4K UHD resolution with Dolby Vision HDR
This screen has four times the number of pixels than Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. High Dynamic Range expands light, dark, and every colour in between for a picture that's closer to real life. This set supports multiple HDR formats including Dolby Vision.

a9 Gen5 AI processor 4K
LG's processor, the brain of the TV, automatically detects and optimises the content you are watching for a superior picture and sound experience.

Exceptional cinema and sport experience
Exceptionally sharp pictures, crystal-clear sound and the deepest black levels, plus Filmmaker Mode, deliver movies as the director intended, for an immersive cinematic experience. And with uncompromised image quality at any angle, and the smoothest motion no matter how fast the action, it brings the intensity of the sporting spectacle into the home.

Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos sound
Together, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos audio ensure even more immersive entertainment, providing awe-inspiring drama to every genre.

Powerful gaming
Ideal for next-gen consoles, get the competitive edge in gaming with 1ms response time and accelerated processor speeds. Plus pro-tools like HDMI 2.1, G-Sync, High Frame Rate (4K/120p), Variable Refresh Rate and Game Optimiser options.

Eye comfort display
OLED provides safer and more comfortable viewing, thanks to flicker-free technology and certified low blue light levels, for less fatigue to the eyes over the longer watch.

webOS smart platform
LG's award-winning webOS platform revolutionises how you experience your entertainment. With quick and easy content discovery and switching, there's more entertainment available than ever before. You can stream from all the most popular services like Netflix, NOW TV, Prime Video, Disney+, Twitch, and more.*

Voice control & smart compatibility
This TV has the Google Assistant and Alexa built in, so you can get answers to questions while you're watching TV, and control compatible smart home devices.

Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV's sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don't compromise on quality either.

Ports - HDMI 2.1 x 4, USB 2.0 (Type A) x 3, Ethernet
Weight - With stand: 16.5kg. Without stand: 14.8kg

Is burn in a real risk here? My little girl has a habit of pausing TV on disney channel for long periods... Is that likely to mess the TV up?
It will go into screen saver mode after a few minutes. It is a low risk on these newer models.

Voted hot! And congrats on your first deal.

Bought this 2 weeks ago for £1499 from JL. Hopefully, they've given the price promise for 35 days and I should be able to get my £50 back, just don't know how to do

Great piece of kit by the way, definitely worth every penny.
Just put in the exact same claim!

After weeks of debating, I finally went for this. I got TopCashBack tracking at £23.82, worth a go if you haven’t ordered yet as it may make the deal even better. Fingers crossed they come through
Is it only tracking for Avios points though?

Whats the difference between LA and LD? Heard that LD supports wireless speakers and LA not. Please correct me (edited)
No it's not something to do with the speakers, according to the model number explained information the last bit only related with the tuner type or the stand nothing much

The last section of the model number relates to the same things as it does on an OLED model, namely sales region (or sometimes a specific retailer), tuner type and stand type.

Does the warranty cover burn in? Thank you
The standard warranty does not. You will have to pay the extra £150 protection.
  18. Avatar
Do you think Richer Sounds will price match this?
Rang them, they can't match their price of £1449.

Want to buy but can't get the finance option to work. Keeps timing out at various points in the journey.

The finance company 'Creation' aren't showing any problems on their status page and JL customer service call centre didn't care.

Maybe it's just not meant to be?!

I've been following these deals for the past week and am so tempted to bite on this one.

I'll be going from a 65inch Panasonic 902b which I love, but ever since this came out I've wanted one.

Anyone else in a similar predicament?
I got the C2 a couple of weeks ago. It's a fantastic TV best I've ever owned. I upgraded from the LGOLEDB7 which I loved but the C2 is a huge upgrade

I’m not sure whether to get a 55 inch at £979 or this 65 inch for £1449. I’ve moved to a new house and no idea what size I should get
    Bigger is best

Essentially the same TV, only difference is that the Costco one has a lighter-coloured back and a swivel stand.
  24. Avatar
    Cheers op.

Got currys to price match as I had an insurance voucher. What a faff though!! if you try a price match online they can’t match if over 100£. So I had to go into a busy store and wasted even more time! Delivery on Monday

Like a few others I finally bit and ordered this today but with Costco for the same price. Not sure how long they take to deliver though. Does anyone have any idea? Just says they will contact me within 5 working days...and delivery within 10 slightly gutted as weekends don't count so world cup could almost be over by then lol
Ordered mine from Costco on 13th Nov, and it arrived 9 days later on 22nd.
So I'd hold my breath for a quick delivery! (edited)

If you sign up for my John Lewis will they start spamming your address/mobile.  Also the LG does not support DTS, if I have my Xbox Series X / Nvidia Shield hooked up straight to the TV (no AV Receiver/Soundbar) will this mean the devices won’t send DTS to the LG.

Do the B & C variants on the 22 models have the same stand width, as opposed to the much longer one on the 21 range?

Do these also enhance the acoustic properties of the speakers, seen that they are positioned pretty much the way acoustic ducts are

Ordered! Thank you, just need our house to be finished.

What good strong tv mounts would you recommend for the LG C2 65 inch?

Ordered this! So excited thanks for the offer! I actually went into curry’s to see if they would match it and they could only get it to £1549, they were blown away that John Lewis had this offer on! Shows how good the deal is
I wonder why Currys couldn't match it after all they claim to match competitors price..they matched it for me in their web chat interface having paid £1699 within the 7 day period they refunded £25O which arrived in my bank today.

Ordered, thanks again op for all your help. 3rd December for delivery. Very excited as I've never had a decent TV b4 lol so looking forward to seeing it. Will a soundbar make a big difference? Was thinking of getting a Bluetooth one for like 90 quid,... Would it be worthwhile or do I really need an expensive one?

was torn between here and costco but wanted the £150 cover. my kid scratched my qled. this will be going on the wall though
    Haha! My dilemma too!
I bit the bullet a couple of weeks back and got it from Costco, but in my opinion, with young kids, JL accidental damage cover is a must!

So, got this and will be returning my Costco purchase.

Bit of a faff, but no regrets lol!
  34. Avatar
Thank you for posting! Finally ordered with extra 3% off via EPP

Can someone please explain the differences between the C24, C25 and C26?

I thought it was just the colour of the back of the screen but I believe some other features maybe different?

You are right..... Why do they make this so complicated! I missed that off my research.

    There are two sources:

"Random comment online i found: According to the LG user manual for C2, only the models C27, C28 and C29 have WiFi 6. Other models, like the usual C24 and C25, have WiFi 5."

I am not sure the bit about Wifi 5/6 is correct, but hard to tell as i cant see that via lg's site.

So looks like this model doesnt have WISA (whatever that is). Which annoys me because the Costco model has and i believe thats now OOS so i cant cancel this order (edited)
