Hi All
This is my first post.
I've been keeping an eye on the price of the C7 at Curry's for a number of weeks now.
Curry's are now offering 10% off selected TV's using code LSTV10 taking the price of this TV down to £2,429.10 i haven't seen it cheaper than this.
The code was pointed out on yusujjamal52 post yesterday, but i'm not sure how many people realised it includes the C7 range.
Hope it helps someone save a few quid.

Excuse me while I get a wonga loan...

Read recently that OLED's are susceptible to screen burn, do research before parting with this amount of cash.

I've got the c7 55, with my tv anytime you leave the tv unattended a black screensaver starts to massively reduce the chances of burn in, having worked in stores selling these tvs, even they were very rarely suffering from screen related issues.

OLED have the best picture available to date, a few problems with some online searching will show you that they can suffer from image retention and diodes burn out easily if left stationary ( ie sky news banner or playing games for long periods of time), also there are inconsistencies in screen uniformity and banding which has lead to many customers returning them.
cut the long story short , there expensive and need looking after which is why I suppose they are slashing prices! still a good price though I have owned 2 oleds and love them but its annoying that you cant own one worry free! also people on the forums are already saying 12 bit panels and 2.1 hdmi etc are likely to be with us in revised 2018 models so buyers beware!

Just ordered the 55” version with the 10% off knocked almost £200 off. Most TVs will suffer from faint burn retention if left on static picture too long and most will disappear but always make sure screen saver mode is on all devices and tv.

Go to work and you won’t need one!

Currys should offer the E7 for a similiar price too like other retailers.

For another £270 you can get the E7 version if you want the upgraded sound quality. Thanks for the post

There were loads of deals for the E7 at the same price last night - have they all vanished?

Second this, I've had some temporary burn in from games but nothing that doesn't come out in the wash

Cash back?

I'm hoping that the 65 inchers get closer to £2K, on actual Black Friday. With the 55" now available for £1500, can't be too far away...

Got an extra £20 off using Richer Sounds price beat as well as 6 year guarantee. Thanks OP.

Just checked their site and it's that price for the 55", not the 65? Is there an extra link for the lower price, please?

Waiting for any LG 65inch Oled to be around £1500 mark.

You think this is gunna happen before January? Seems unlikely

The 65 C7 has now dropped to £2499 at Curry's. Not sure if the LSTV10 code still works, as look to be getting choosy about which TVs it can be used with.
