Cheapest 65 C9 went was 1699, 1799 & 1849 in last 5 weeks now every where it’s 2499. Now this is the lowest price you can get with sky offer.

I bought the E9 55" for £1400.
TCB £225 and also used gift cards saving 7.5%
So was a steal at £809 and if cash back pays out will be £584

Yeah .

Sky offer is based on serial numbers. So when you enter serial number of TV you will get the code.

As above I PM with JL on BF but never ordered till 26th Dec as wanted to see Boxing Day .

Ordered it on 26th and got it 28 and entered serial number on 31 Dec and got 100 free.

Sky was never a deal breaker for me to be honest .

A ) I use IPTV
B ) it’s the basic stuff
C ) Sky always have offers

But got it now anyways as it was free plus no one can beat sky quality and menu system plus recording .

It’s good for someone paying for sports etc who can lower down monthly price . I just iptv for that £25 a year for everything :-)

it was £1850 last week
Cheers for the effort, as Currently this is the cheapest price but hotukdeals is about the best price. Given this has been 1649/1699 for a few hours at rgb direct on black friday and 1799 for months at costco with everyone else at 1849 I don't see it as a deal, just because everyone upped the price to £2500 about 4 days ago.

FYI, sky offer was 50% on 65 C9 in November, but once the E9 was all used up they upgraded C9 to 100% off in December. Not sure why though.
In the last couple of weeks both the 55 and 65 C9 prices have jumped up everywhere, likely in preparation for the CX pricing so when they put the 65C9 back to £1,800 it looks like a better deal rather than just the going rate it has been for ages until now

The price points will be released well in advance of the product release. I’m currently looking to buy a C9 myself. I also think that once the Sky deal expires the prices of the C9 might drop a touch, but with the CX being more of an incremental step up and the cost of the OLED panels dropping for LG, it would make sense if the CX RRP was close to the current inflated C9 prices (£1499 for 55” and £2499 for 65”) but the new size of 48” for the CX could be a very tempting prospect depending on the price point...

From the avs forums. There is nothing in the CX that I need over the C9.

CX has support for FreeSync versus C9 which does not).

CX supports 4k120 over HDMI 2.0 (via 4:2:0), while C9 will not be getting this feature.

CX has 120Hz BFI versus C9 which does not (this is a major upgrade and will improve near-black uniformity by 50%)

CX supports Cinema Motion Pro which is probably double-shutter and/or triple-shutter emulation of 24fps content.

CX includes Aloha-9 Gen 3 processor while C9 includes Alpha-9 Gen 2 (\~half as fast/powerful)

CX has Ambient AI (Dolby Vision IQ) EOTF based on ambient light conditions while C9 does not.
CX will be definitely better than C9. There is absolutely no doubt

A ) They need to better for LG to make more sales more money

B ) Technology is changing every minute

C ) Eliminates all the problems of C9

Believe it won’t be is just being silly or living in fools paradise.

I have C9 and will feel sad at C10 but that just life and so the C10 owners will be when C11 comes.

But from zoomed out point of view C9 is enough for anyone for next 5 years.

It has absolutely everything for now

It’s expired now. Hope this tv get back to 1799 or less anytime soon. Very bad LG electronics retail planning, sell it as many you can, oled technology comes with if and buts. Sell it as much you can soon it would be over shadows by micro-led or quantum oleds even something better. This tv should be below 1500 at this this time. Tell me if I buy Telly with this price tag addition to always fear of burning, it going to be stressful.
