See the OLED difference for yourself
With advanced Pixel Level Dimming, OLED remains one of the best options for class-leading picture quality. Unlike LED screens, OLED doesn't require backlighting, so the colour is consistent right across the screen, with greatly enhanced contrast levels.

Powerful new processor at its heart
With the a9 Gen 2 processor at its heart, this 65 inch LG TV is not only faster at processing but brings about a whole host of new features. Intelligent Artificial Intelligence (AI) benefits both picture and sound for the clearest images and audio yet. Combined with HDMI2.1 sockets, the powerful processor also supports exciting new picture technologies, such as High Frame Rate and Dynamic HDR.

HDMI 2.1 connectivity for wider support
Featuring HDMI 2.1 sockets gives this LG greatly enhanced connectivity. HDMI 2.1 supports Dynamic HDR. This lets the TV adjust the picture frame-by-frame for active control of the contrast. For gaming and VR headset use, Variable Refresh Rate and Quick Frame Transport aim to reduce lag and provide a smoother and more responsive feel. HDMI 2.1 also supports eARC – an upgraded Audio Return Channel that supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos from TV to audio system.

AI Picture
Artificial Intelligence comes of age with LG’s Deep Learning AI Picture. This clever system compares the signal with a table of content and automatically adjusts the picture quality to the most accurate image possible. Using an ambient light sensor, the system adjusts screen brightness and other criteria (with HDR signals). The result is greater realism with a cleaner and sharper picture.

AI Sound
If you fancy a more cinematic sound from your TV, then LG’s AI Sound should be music to your ears. Using AI algorithms, AI Sound up-mixes two-channel audio to virtual 5.1 sound – giving a much more immersive sound stage. The powerful a9 Gen 2 processor also optimises the sound based on content type – giving clearer vocals with news and dramas. The powerful AI can also take account of your room’s acoustics and layout and adjusts to give the cleanest sound possible.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG OLED 65” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED65C9PLA delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.

Upgrade to wireless surround sound with WiSA*
WiSA stands for Wireless Speaker & Audio. The system wirelessly streams sound up to 24bit 96kHz, 8-channels and includes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. WiSA is flexible as you decide which speakers you want and where you want them – they don’t even have to be from LG. Simply look for WiSA supported speakers and decide how you’d like your audio to sound. *Separate dongle purchase required.

Now featuring Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple TV app
With support for Apple AirPlay 2, this LG 65 inch TV lets you effortlessly stream from your Apple device. Even better, support for Apple’s TV app (Due 2020) means you can enjoy Apple’s 4K HDR content – featuring top quality Dolby Atmos and Vision. Support for Apple’s HomeKit makes this LG highly compatible with the whole Apple system.

Smart voice control – ThinQ AI integrates with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa*
Voice control has got much smarter with this LG TV. Press the dedicated voice mic button and ThinQ AI decides if the TV’s software or Google Assistant handles the command. Google Assistant is capable of changing the channel and input via voice command. It also integrates with services such as Google Photos and Google Maps to make your TV an even greater source of entertainment. As an alternative, direct voice control via Amazon Alexa is also set to be an option from mid/late 2019. *Alexa built-in upgrade due later in the year.

Take a look at the LG OLED65C9PLA and see for yourself why OLED more than lives up to the hype.

It's the standard price but with a 6 year warranty instead of 5 years. I don't consider this a deal

I've found it a bit hit and miss if the winter code was working, it stopped working on all products at one point but then started again the following day. I've rechecked and it's not wiring again so expired the code.

Any reason why I should get this over the Hisense that's £1400 less?? 😳
How does the 6 year guarantee work? Who guarantees it because I bought an lg with 5 years guarantee and when I registered it on lg it only shows 1 year.. do it the extended warranty with the store?

Richer sounds do. Their guarantee is pretty good.
With the 6 year warranty, this is the best deal for this great TV at the moment. Has been worse and better deals available previously
What’s a great sound bar for these LG tellys
Been this price for a while. Even at John Lewis. Waiting for it to drop
Managed to get mine for 1679 from Richer sounds as they price-matched a John Lewis offer I had been sitting on.
Glad I did, its a fab screen for what I wanted, I bought it for the class-leading Input lag and a response time of 1ms, it makes gaming feel instant and is a massive improvement over my previous 47" LG model

It's a steep price but for me it was worth it, although I couldn't hack gaming on a smaller, less capable TV ever again.

I don’t like OLED based on my personal experience and mine breaking so soon. But when it was working I bought the Samsung Q90R Atmos Soundbar which quite frankly is awesome and probably one of the best out there. If you can afford it then well worth the money..... but not cheap

This is how I hope I feel when I pull the trigger on 1 of these

Going from a 240hz Alienware monitor to a 4K Sony few gens old LCD with horrible amounts of input lag & response time has rendered it unusable to me.

I run the games with high motion smoothing on when playing god of war. Yet use real cinema (24p 2:3 pull down) for films, and minimal for TV.

Back in stock at 1799 at costco. Richer sounds will price best this by an extra £20.
The new TVs at CES look awesome I think I'll wait to get a 8k TV and future proof

It's got to be the LG SN11RG.

A genuine 7.1 Dolby Atmos system that comes supplied with upward firing speakers both in the soundbar and the supplied rear wireless speakers. Partnered with Meridian you can be assured of very high quality and immersive surround sound as well as integrating perfectly with LG's Smart Q AI system.
Box co Uk has it for same price but giving 24 months 0% via PayPal credit, iam considering it, need to get it before 23rd as sky free offer ends on 23rd Jan

It's pretty much what everyone has done on the same day. I don't work in retail but to all do it on the same day makes me think its part of the distribution channel into the UK.

Prc direct and Peter tyson are both still 1849.99. Everyone else, richer sounds, Hughes direct, crampton and Moore, John Lewis, curry's, etc are now £2500.
Now Just Prc direct have it for £1849.
Even that is gone. Now Philips 65OLED854 from Costco is the best for value for money OLED in the market.
