LG OLED65C9PLA
65 inch OLED 4K Ultra HD Premium Smart TV Freeview Play Freesat HD
See the OLED difference for yourself
With advanced Pixel Level Dimming, OLED remains one of the best options for class-leading picture quality. Unlike LED screens, OLED doesn't require backlighting, so the colour is consistent right across the screen, with greatly enhanced contrast levels.

Powerful new processor at its heart
With the a9 Gen 2 processor at its heart, this 65 inch LG TV is not only faster at processing but brings about a whole host of new features. Intelligent Artificial Intelligence (AI) benefits both picture and sound for the clearest images and audio yet. Combined with HDMI2.1 sockets, the powerful processor also supports exciting new picture technologies, such as High Frame Rate and Dynamic HDR.

HDMI 2.1 connectivity for wider support
Featuring HDMI 2.1 sockets gives this LG greatly enhanced connectivity. HDMI 2.1 supports Dynamic HDR. This lets the TV adjust the picture frame-by-frame for active control of the contrast. For gaming and VR headset use, Variable Refresh Rate and Quick Frame Transport aim to reduce lag and provide a smoother and more responsive feel. HDMI 2.1 also supports eARC – an upgraded Audio Return Channel that supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos from TV to audio system.

AI Picture
Artificial Intelligence comes of age with LG’s Deep Learning AI Picture. This clever system compares the signal with a table of content and automatically adjusts the picture quality to the most accurate image possible. Using an ambient light sensor, the system adjusts screen brightness and other criteria (with HDR signals). The result is greater realism with a cleaner and sharper picture.

AI Sound
If you fancy a more cinematic sound from your TV, then LG’s AI Sound should be music to your ears. Using AI algorithms, AI Sound up-mixes two-channel audio to virtual 5.1 sound – giving a much more immersive sound stage. The powerful a9 Gen 2 processor also optimises the sound based on content type – giving clearer vocals with news and dramas. The powerful AI can also take account of your room’s acoustics and layout and adjusts to give the cleanest sound possible.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG OLED 65” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED65C9PLA delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.

What's the sky savings ?
Great price... Hope the E9 drops the same
Before bf noooooo:/
For a c9 50% off the bill (well upto £360 in total) tvoffer.sky.com/

Link is also on the product anywhere the LG oleds are sold
I have the B8 but now am regretting the purchase, the TV is great but I chose LG because of its reputation of a good operating system, what I’ve found however is the future updates from LG might not be good, the prioritise current years model then drop it a year later. New apps seem to reserved for next years model. So don’t expect a Smart Phone style of years of fresh updates for a Smart TV , while Sony Samsung and others seem to be including the latest streaming apps LG is silent..

I could be wrong but the latest set of complaints over the new AppleTV+ app isn’t a good sign. Even a years old Firestick will get it but not a 2018 LG it seems

Is there much difference between the £1,000 55b9 and the £1,274 55c9 ? Trying to work out if if it's worth forking out extra £274.
I really wish the discount worked on the E9 55

Really hoping it is discounted very soon.

I am tempted to bite on the C9 though atm I can get it down to 1172.08 if curry’s price match. This is with a further 8% work discount

What was this referring to? The price beat still applies if you bought with a code and it drops further after you bought. This has been confirmed with a richer sounds CS rep.

The black Friday price match also includes competitor price match, you can confirm this by calling their telesales team.
Got the B9 55 inch couple weeks ago in richer sounds for £1174, would go for it over the C definitely, didn’t fancy paying extra couple hundred for a newer processor which is apparently soooo much better than last years best ever processor!

Ps tv is amazing, moved up from a 40inch Panasonic plasma and it’s night and day...
Ahhh so tempted!!! They won't refund you the difference if it is cheaper over black Friday though if you use a promotion code...

You should call them, they should confirm this is the case. The BF match is just their normal price beat extended to Dec 3rd.

Me too
Just get one bought if any of you really plan to do so, even if it is cheaper on BF, it won’t be significantly so.
If only I had room for 65" might look at the 55, but there's not as much off it!
I was planning to buy this TV on BF. This deal seems quite good.... dont know what to do....if I should wait or bite the bullet and just buy it now....
Can you apply sky TV offer on your existing sky broadband package?
Grest price this. Already own the 55 c9 and its immense!

Same here mate, had to wait before buying B8 myself...waste of money.

Same for me too. But I got the C6 about 2.5 years ago. The TV is amazing but LG don’t push out any updates so I wouldn’t recommend this tv if you plan on keeping it for a few years. Seems the same with later models too.
I payed this for the 55b7 2 users ago & that was a good deal at the time. Prices are really coming down at long last. Think I'll grab a c10 65 this time next year ready for the ps5.

Not sure what you mean. What updates are you expecting?
All the apps still update.
Buy it now and richer sounds will price match for black friday and cyber Monday. Have to notify them by 3rd decemeber.

I have this TV and owned it for about 5 months or so. Great TV, great picture and zero problems. No ghosting, no burn in and no troubles. Watch a lot of sport and played a lot of gaming. Assassins creed oddessy with the map. No issues.
Great price.

Only concern is the 120 fps tvs if you want to play the next gen at the best settings. However..... For the first year or two. Think realistically it will be 60fps on 4k.
Rambled too long. Heat.

Not sure I understand, if it doesn't get any apps you want in the future having a firestick or nvidia shield will fix that issue

You don't have the latest apps and features. For example on my 8 series I can't stream from my Ipad which is possible on 9 series. There are almost zero hardware changes so the actual hardware is capable but the software (WEBOS) is limited which is quite anoying for premium TV.
Is this worth the extra £200 over the B9, what's the difference?
