What are the speakers like on these? Anyone know?
My uncle bought an LG OLED a couple of generations back and the speakers were appalling. Weaker than generic pc monitor built in speakers.
At same time I bought the LG SK8500PLA, which has done me really well, except I damaged the screen when we moved. So should probably look at a replacement (line vertically through atm lol). The speakers on this are good, far superior to the OLED of same generation.

Ive got the cx and a c2 and the speakers are ok but a bit tinny and i use a small soundbar which sits behind pointing up and this is far richer sound but I dont think its essential as built in ones are better than some others i heard

Yes but many prefer the warranty at JL, curry's one may be the LG one which isn't very good I believe, parts only and panel only I think. Clarification of what you are covered for is essential
