You need to read the terms and conditions of the cashback promotion. It clearly states the retailer needs to be a qualifying retailer and Peter Tyson isn't on the list.

Yes I understand this company is not listed but all I was saying was that no harm to try and even if you dont get the money back ,compare with John Lewis price £3799 -£800 = £2999 and this one is £2499 so its still bargain dont you agree with me !!!!

I managed to pick up the 55" E7 from John Lewis and have applied for my £500 cashback from LG. As part of the process you need to pick your retailer. I wouldn't buy a TV from a non-participating retailer in the hopes of getting LG agree to cashback.

Sweet how much did you get it for including the cashback?
65" version is still too much at that price, may be worth a punt at under £2k, after reading into screen burn in and LG's very questionable policies around any returns on TV's with screen burn I'm going to stay with LCD for a bit longer until OLED matures a bit longer.

I would really like to either see the XE93 65", Q8F 65" and the Q9F 65" come down to non silly prices, I'm thinking CES will also see possible price dips as they start trying to empty old stocks. From all reports Samsung have taken a kickin this year on the Q line as most customers and professionals agree its not worth the price they want.

I've considered the XE90 65" as well since it has a full dimming light array which is strangely missing from the XE93. But the XE93 from all accounts is stonking when it comes to picture quality with the X1 Extreme processor since the XE90 has only the X1 standard version.
This isn't even close to being a deal. Its a hopeful wild goose chase.
Excellent tv, I purchased from Peter Tyson at this price. A month later no issues with screen burn, jaw dropping picture quality. Worth every penny, HOT!

Quick edit, having demo’d the Sony TVs, they are good, but these LG OLEDS support almost everything (Dolby atmos/vision) have a lightening fast web OS, and amazing contrast.

There’s quite a bit of Dolby vision content on netflix, e.g the punisher, daredevil etc which is quite impactful. The bbciplayer has made available Blue planet in UHD HLG HDR and it is pretty gorgeous at times.

What's it like in Dolby Vision/Atmos? Don't have Netflix. Need to find DV/Atmos content. Blue Planet in HLG HDR is stunning.
What is everyone using to wall mount for the 65 inch E7? Struggling to find one that fits because of the soundbar. Don't want to spend 99 pounds on the official one.

I so want the 65 E.
You think it will drop to £2k anytime soon?

Seems nice price, but can’t be spending 2.5k on an impulse buy.

So so tempting though. Just wouldn’t know what to do with my 51 plasma
Just got off the call with RicherSounds. They are not willing to price match since the £1000 off promotion is not apparently not authorized by LG.

Wonder if 2.5k is the best we get then?

Can remember this time last year following the prices on the 2016 range and ended up running out of stock and losing out.

Just debating if to grab one this year or wait another 12months after I have got a house as I suppose the £2.5k (as in 10% deposit) could be another £25k towards the price of a house.

Got a serious live for the moment mindset right now. Would love a 65inch OLED hmmmmmm!?
