Have you used this service, are the installers decent or is it better to do it yourself if your handy with a drill?

Just purchased, with Perksatwork discount it worked out as £1763.

Also it means no more monitoring prices for this TV which I've been doing for the past 4 months!!

I'm on the fence about this buying this TV. My budget is strict so I'm being sensible (not very HUKD I know).

It's definitely the model I want but the truth is I can wait, especially when prices drop further after the C3/G3 announcement this year.

All I can say is I saw it in person and the design and quality is amazing, also the flush wall mounting is nice and the added heatsink bodes well for longevity.

Waiting for the G3.... then won't be long before your chasing G3 deals.... Then then the G4 rumour onslaught begins and you will be questioning whether to wait for the G4.... And so the vicious cycle continues

These don't come with stands. Just brackets to flush mount to the wall. Looks amazing when installed.

Channeling will be good idea to get the cables hidden and to the back of thr TV

I've been looking into recessed sockets to hide behind the G2, not much on the market though, can only find this electrical4less.co.uk/pro…er/ . I guess you could just recess a standard socket though (edited)

Am I the only one on this TV deal that every post is being moderated? Is there something I'm missing about G series LG TVs? (edited)

Beautiful TV but that is too much money !

It is a lot, but consider that 2 years ago a 65"GX only went down to around £2.1k. Combined with the inflation we've seen over the last year suggests that this very competitive and that OLED TV prices are falling in real terms.

I'm waiting for this TV to come down in price further, I'm rocking a 42inch lg 1080p 3d TV since 2012. It will be a massive upgrade

Does anyone know if the gallery function on this is as good as the Samsung Frame? I saw the Frame in Currys but they couldn't find the remote for the G2 to compare
    Avatar
I have both the 2020 and 2022 Samsung frame 43" and a LG G1 65". Can's say I use the picture function on any of them. The Frame is great for the one connect box and suits my needs for that purpose. Comparing the TV's I would go for a OLED LG as it's picture quality is in a different league.

The free instillation is a nice touch the 65" G1 was quite hard to get onto the bracket but amazing once installed.

£1800 is a steal for this TV,
Already own a 65” C8 which ive loved every day for over 4 years.
Time to offload it for about £700 - £1100 to upgrade is great thanks OP

Can you get that for a secondhand TV of that age?

Great price for the G2. But tight of LG not to include a stand in the box. You can get one but it’s about another £100 and pretty flimsy anyway. Of course this model is designed for wall-mounting, but still…

Especially if you remember that the launch price of the 65C2 was £2499. I think a lot of people think these TVs are going to be £1K
