LG Optimus 4X HD Black or White £312 Possible £177 @ Affordable Mobiles

Similar to many previous deals, I think we can get this great phone for £177. I know that LG support is appalling in terms of updates etc but for this price surely it is a great deal. Below are the calculations ...

£15.50 x 12 = £186
£10.50 x 12 = £126

Total = £312

Affordable Mobiles are offering £95 Auto Cashback (no need to claim, it will automatically be credited after 90 days).

and you can get £40 cashback from imutual.co.uk (not sure how good they are but worth a try)

So if you get both cashbacks then it will be £312 - £95 - £40 = £177.

I am currently using the Xperia Arc S and have managed to remove Bolt-On and have downgraded in 9 months itself to £10.50. Hence I am confident that this is possible ......

I am going for this one now Hope this helps someone looking for a latest phone with tight budget .....

O2 won't allow you to downgrade anymore. They have changed their terms and condition with effect from 30/03/2012.

Yeah I am not sure how the description and link got changed, dont have the rights to edit it hence asking power users to fix this please ...

as per O2 T&Cs, can't downgrade after 12 months

Pasted below from O2 FAQ on changing monthy tariff:

Q: Can I change my Pay Monthly tariff?
A: Yes, new and upgrading customers on 12, 18 and 24 month contacts with a handset can move up to the tariff you want (except On & On tariff). But you may not move to a lower priced tariff than the one you joined during your contract.

well, I have downgraded myself and when I received the contract it also said in the t&c's that I can downgrade after 9 months and I am pretty sure that they have increased it to 12 months now.

Is removing the bolt on classed as a 'downgrade' though?

No, not really as when you add the phone to your basket it clearly says that it comes with a 500MB internet bolt-on. Bolt-on's are just add on's which can be removed.

Thats what I thought. Thanks.

Hi - Thanks just ordered the phone myself
