Best UK price right now, bought this for my mom a month ago, it's a decent performance, good looking phone for the price. Great budget alternative of G6 considering that is still £350+.

had a quick gander at spec, doesnt seem significantly better than p8lite 2017 and 2x price. is the camera great or something?

edit: added 2017 to make clear i'm talking about this, currently £105 with sim or maybe £65 if you're lucky with cashback?

i'm sure there's nothing wrong with this phone it's just not really hot. like the p8lite deal at £140 ish it'd be tempting..

Are we looking at the same P8 lite? The one I'm looking at has a 720p screen which is half the pixels, 2gb of memory which is 50% less, and has 16gb of base storage instead of 32gb. And then there's the bezel less like display on the Q6 which a lot of people are going towards these days because they look premium.

It's pretty good, in fact i never had the P8 Lite to compare see some sample images in this review

Personally I'd choose the LG over the Huawei by look, I like the rounded screen and small bezels.
Misread as G6, disappointed

Would have been sold out in a few minutes at that price! Hopefully we will see that one day soon!
No fingerprint scanner? Bit of a deal breaker these days...

No, thats the 2015 version there is a 2017 version, specs much closer to this, still only 16gb though but now 1080p and 3gb ram. It does have a much better processor than this too

even the £1K iPhone does not have that
the CPU is equivalent to a snapdragon 410 according to a quick google-search

Do you still use a black and white TV too?

A Fingerprint scanner is very fast on most devices and very secure, hence why online banking uses it. Give it a try if you can.

Lots of old laptops had fingerprint scanners so did the S5 and iPhone 5s and they were bearly used i can enter my password faster than a scanner can unlock

Not secure as you have to set a pin or a Patten lock which can easily be bruteforced

You must have dodgy fingerprints mate! The fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S is near enough instant and would have the phone unlocked and ready to use before you got to the first digit of your pin.

I agree that the S5 and old laptops had terrible fingerprint scanners that required you to swipe your finger rather than just rest your finger on the scanner. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S has one of those and I don't use it and never will. With how fast and secure fingerprint sensors are now I wouldn't go back to a phone without one.

So what would be the alternative for you then?

As the other guy said yours must be faulty, they are instant these days and even wake up the phone on pressing meaning no button pushing or even touching the screen. Instant. Certainly no gimmick if banks use it and incredibly hard to hack, you've got more chance someone seeing your code or password than them hacking a fingerprint scanner.
But each to their own mate .

To be fair my work Samsung A3 2017 is pretty unreliable and annoying, keeps telling me to wipe my finger and try again. My personal phone is much much better

Just a pin it is same security as finger print i prefer it but use whatever you prefer but never use face lock i have unlocked alot of my familys phones with facelock and they look nothing like me

I understand your viewpoint...but you are wrong. Had a Nexus 5X, in one smooth motion of taking it out of my pocket you put your finger on the back of the phone and by the time you've brought it so you're looking at it the phone is unlocked. New tech can be cool. I wish that phone hadn't died, considering this phone now but would miss the fingerprint sensor...

Tesco has this phone for £199.99 seems good to me, as it's from UK.
