I would agree with two exceptions:

It becomes a nuisance when the "LG Music Flow" network drops (due to an issue on your main Wi-Fi network) if you are using additional surround speakers linked to the same network by Wi-Fi, as often you have to power-cycle the external speakers.

The Soundbar occasionally (once every couple of weeks) fails to produce any sound connected by Optical cable & has to be power-cycled to correct that as well.

(I'm not ruling out that I have a faulty unit, but it works well for a majority of the time).

I do like the Android "apps" & PC software to control the Soundbar/network/speaker configuration, though.

PS. Good price; I paid just under £330 around six months ago, but it has been much cheaper in the past: That said, Time travel is more expensive!

Also "inb4" somebody suggests my issues are because this is the "SH8" model.

I have this paid £240 about 3 months ago. Also purchased x2 lg h3 speakers for surround sound. Its works very well but this dose not support hdcp 2.2 meaning it will not work with 4k uhd blu ray.

will it work with movies played in 4k UHD on sky q through an LG super UHD TV?

Are you asking seriously

It was a serious question at the time yes, as I'm new to 4K and I saw it stated 4k audio on the specs, but when it was mentioned that it won't work without HDCP2.2 I wanted to ask. Don't worry yourself now though as I've had a Google and enlightened myself. Sorry if we're not all clued up on the ins and outs of 4k tech like you. Everyone has to start somewhere.

As far as I now understand it, it's doesn't need HDCP2.2 to allow 4k sound if your TV is connected directly to the soundbar. However, if the soundbar is connected between your TV and satellite/cable box it does need HDCP2.2 and HDMI2.

I hope this comment saves another 4k rookie on here the hassle and the sarcasm.

It's now dropped to £295.29 from Amazon Warehouse (New), or £277.57 (Used - Cosmetic Damage) here: amazon.co.uk/gp/…all

I don't think 4k streaming uses HDCP 2.2 its just the 4K Blu-ray.

Now £266.46 at Amazon (UK)!
