Plenty of other reductions too, LG Chocolate for £70, Motorola K1 £80, Samsung X830 for £100

Nice spot, but they all seem to require a £10 top-up?

Good prices, just + £10 now.

You must buy £10 airtime... + £5 Quidco cashback

oops, yes, missed that bit in my rush to post - when I bought my LG a while back they didn't require the top-up.

are the phones locked?

are the phones locked?

Probably not, but maybe someone who buys one could let us know on delivery for sure.

that's what i'm not sure about. cos i remember comments that phone4u PAYG are not locked to network

ordered 2 phones previously from clearance section, incuding above LG KG810 and neither was locked to the enclosed sim.

just got a lg chocolate today and its not locked to virgin,my o2 sim works fine:thumbsup:

just been on quidco. Phones4u cashback increased to £10

Just used Quidco for the first time to buy the KG810, cleared all cookies and Quidco states 'no transactions currently tracked'!
If I'd of known this was going to happen I wouldn't have bought it.
Doh!

what's the difference between new and refurbished phones? do they still have all the same accessories and is the phone just as good etc?

The phone is just as good

If it did come without the same accessories then you could always send it back.

thats a good point, i'm just wondering whether to pay the extra £20 for the new one.

This is interesting.

If you go the PAYG section rather than clearance then click shine
you get 139.95
phones4u.co.uk/sho…892

and no warning of it being a refurb.
You would assume you are buying new.

I think thye should be upfront about refurbs

It says "LG 'Shine' KE970 - Clearance Virgin Pay As You Like" on that page anyway?

Anyone know if the the KG810 is any good? (as a phone & not some bling music playing picture taking gimmick)

Got one, arguably a bit more 'macho' than regular chocolat, nice phone, but poor battery - 3 days max (this might be the same on chocolate though).
