High efficiency washing from LG. With its TrueSteam technology, the F14A7FDSA6 gives you the most thorough cleaning possible. Water vapour is injected directly into the drum and permeates fabric, killing 99.9% of all bacteria and refreshing tired fabrics. The 9kg drum is large enough to handle 45 adult T-shirts, so it’s got a whole lot of space in there to play with. A top spin speed of 1400rpm means it can shake a lot of moisture from the load to make drying easier. Best of all, it’s been awarded an A+++ energy efficiency rating, making it one of the most cost-effective machines available.

This is a fantastic machine for price... people seem to think this is too expensive. It's not cheap.. but believe me that these machines will last

why are you fixated on 9KG?
have you ever seen 9KG of clothing?? Once you've sorted your colours and fabrics you'd have to have 12 kids to get 9KG's worth.

Its just a ploy by lesser brands to make you think their machines are better.

had this machine (but 7kg) for 5 yrs.. is excellent in what it does and is still just as it was new.

7kg is great for duvets etc but 9kg will be even better if its king size duvet 7kg is a just a little small.

What a load of rubbish. Our, supposedly, 8KG Bosch is used every day. If we don't do a load one day we definitely need to do two the next because two days worth of washing will not fit in one load - well you can cram it in but then it doesn't wash well enough. If there are "incidents" we might need to wash three loads in a day. A nine kilo machine would give us a lot more leeway. Actually a ten or eleven kilo machine would be even better because we could time non-essential washing to the weather forecast to save on tumble drying in the winter.

The Bosch will probably not last too many more years and LG is up towards the top of the brands that we might choose to replace it - but a large capacity Miele with ten year warranty, for the same money? Well that would be a no-brainer. Ain't gonna happen though is it?

It's not rubbish at all. 8KG is equivalent to around 40 tops, so assuming you sort your clothing correctly between colours / fabric types etc 8KG is more than enough more most people. If you do need more than that you are in the minority.

You wouldn't get 40 tops in our 8KG Bosch unless they were baby ones.

After a black washer and black dryer can anyone recommend the best ones? Want them in black
