Only 2 HDMI ports

please check if this is compatible with Netflix 4k before purchase. wish I'd done so!

The old UB models are compatible with Netflix 4k and also Plex. I'd be surprised if they removed it on their newer models.

if your buying a 4k TV make sure it is HDR if not can the firmware be updated .

of course that is only relevant if you actually use Netflix - not everyone does in which case they will not need to check

HDR (high dynamic range) capability won't be able to be updated via firmware. The TV itself has to be able to reach the 7-800+ nits brightness to do it, current TVs hit about 100. Only about 3-4 ultra high end TVs currently have HDR capability, this TV certainly won't.

I would expect full UHD (4K) compliant TVs to launch for a decent price in a year or two, as UHD is more than just resolution it also requires a REC2020 colour gamut (wider range of colours), HDR (highlights such as a sun reflection in a wine glass will be much brighter) and HFR (high frame rate)

Still if you are looking for a TV right now, this is a decent price.

Nothing to get excited about, all the others will follow and soon might go down sub £500, it is only a badget tv after all
Anyway, can see that 4k@60hz 4:4:4 chroma sampling is now a standard with LG

read the manual: lg.com/uk/…75V page13
anyway, think twice if you want to use it for pc gaming, LG is not usually the best, to much lag usually. Cannot find any review yet and also there is no 3D at this price

I do not understand what you mean, it will do normal broadcast at 50hz and play discs at the right hertz too as well as blurays at 24hz. Eventual future broadcast will definitely be supported by this tv at 60hz/4k. Any pc mode up to 60hz

I'm really not sure what it means, it has 2 hdmi modes, one is 60hz and the other 'HDMI-PC supported mode' is 24Hz.
