What do you own, a ‘right to play’a film in your account with X until buffering or closure. Have a disc, pass it around, sell it in. Far cheaper. Especially with a used disc.

No Dolby Vision (not many discs with it anyway) or Dolby Atmos
No Wifi have to connect via ethernet

Any idea of a good player (good value also) that supports ATMOS? I purchased an Atmos system and then realised my xbox one x nor my blu ray players support Atmos lol....

AFAIK Xbox One S / X support Atmos if you subscribe to Dolby Access, but I’m not sure how much that costs.

I’m still on the hunt for a stand-alone player myself.

Stone me, you have to subscribe to an additional service in order to unlock Dolby atmos
This player does support Atmos btw. lg.com/uk/…K80

There's quite a few new releases with Dolby Atmos now. Handy as I only had a Dolby 5.1 sounds system and sick of having to play blu rays in stereo only (DTS downscales to 2.0 on Dolby)
Xbox One S and X support Dolby Atmos (over TrueHD) on disc in the Bluray player app, in settings set "let receiver decode audio"

For Dolby Atmos Netflix and games you need the free Dolby Access app then set audio output to Bitstream and Dolby Atmos.
The only thing you pay extra for is Dolby Atmos Headphone decoding.

Wanted to say thanks for this!
I downloaded the app, followed the instructions and now my Atmos is working via my Xbox - so all good! Thanks again
