VA. I'll add it to the title!
Looks like a decent monitor for the price, Heat added.

I paid £750 for the earlier model of this less than two years ago. Huge price drop but I don't regret it!
vesa mount compatabile?
I'm after a larger monitor at the moment but debating what's better....ultrawide 34" or 32" standard format?

Main use is AutoCad, a little office and web surfing.

Any ideas?

I like ultrawide a lot, but 16:9 is the standard. And the 144Hz sells this for me.

For your usage, you might benefit from the ultrawide aspect ratio. Which one are you looking at?

Pretty basic considering other monitors and this drops to £260/270 now and then. I would get the LG one. It's a cracking price!

The stand has height adjustment, swivel, and portrait. The Samsung I linked to has none of that. If you're gonna use your own stand or mount it doesn't matter but something to think about.

If you’re not gaming 144hz is overkill for you and an ultra wide or super ultra wide would be better for your needs.

2560x1080 or 3440x1440? Budget?
brought this monitor open box from Currys/ebay with 5% code couple weeks ago, amazingly great monitor, esepcially for the price! cant fault it apart from it not being a curve

I’m afraid not. I haven’t really looked at buying one to research and confidently recommend one.

Not being curved at such massive size,I find colour towards both outer edges starting to distort and seems less uniform.
It is not massively noticeable and I should sit further away from my screen if I'm honest haha

It has quite a lot more pixels to drive than the LG one here, but it's only 60Hz. Your GPU should run it fine unless it's a potato.

60Hz going to be ok for general use?

Yes it's perfectly fine. It will be a struggle to find say a 100Hz IPS for that budget. I have a feeling you could run that at 75Hz with Freesync, even by adding it with CRU (custom resolution). But don't hold me to that.

GPU is Sapphire Radeon RX 460 Dual X 2048MB but it's due an upgrade. The whole system is as I'm on the old LG1150 socket with an i3 haswell

It's a tricky one. Without trying both and deciding on that, it's difficult. Your GPU won't have issues running either of the resolutions.
