I almost got this but not 1440p or 144Hz. It did however look sweet but its collection only and the nearest was 60 miles away
Still a good price for what you get

GTG is 5ms

Decent monitors, got a slightly older version and I love it.

Shame that there is hardly any stock...

Was just looking at this monitor on Amazon Prime day and was close to pulling the trigger.

This would be a temporary monitor before I do a full new PC build, as my current daily Macbook Pro from 2011 cannot push out the resolution that I will be upgrading computer to and my current external monitor is ghosting and has image burn severely.

Would anyone suggest anything other than this for a 29" to 32" temporary cheap monitor???

My max output resolution on my old Macbook Pro is 2560 by 1600 I think.

Thanks OP, potentially saving me £40.02 if I purchase.

EDIT***
Cant find stock anywhere near me anyway, oh well.

Cheers

Can't find any stock Cambridgeshire or London. May be a wild goose chase to be honest. Great price though!

No stock in or near Leicester

Not any near Portsmouth/Hampshire either

Just rang Curry's he couldnt find one on the system in any store within 50 miles of Worcestershire

I can imagine this is great for media creators or for work purposes but for gamers, I'd recommend 144hz 16:9 over 60hz 21:9. I recently bought a BenQ 27 inch 144hz and the step up from 60 is huge, even when you machine can't produce the full 144fps, there is still the benefit of zero screen tearing even without vsync, freesync, gsync etc.

POst the deal! Sivthasan

Shame it's (L)oada (G)arbage, have had nothing but trouble with this brand over the years. Good price though.

What is the equivalent 'normal' size monitor for this?

I'm tempted by an ultrawide, I have a 21" 16:9 right now, which is perfect size for the desk.

This is too tempting. Mmmmuuuussttt resists....

So apart from being the wrong resolution, wrong speed and none anywhere near where you live, you nearly bought it? Ha I was/am exactly the same as me.

Unlike a lot of people talking garbage here I actually have this exact monitor and have had it for a year. Great for gaming, working (text and photo/video) and movies, just a great all rounder and I came to the conclusion of buying this monitor after countless hours of pros/cons comparisons. It has never let me down and is a better option than two monitors for a normal home setup. 60/75Hz don't bother me for gaming (racing, simulators, fps, you name it), just get a better stand (£20-30) as rhe original one is rubbish.

Would this be any good for a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
I don't game, just looking for a 27" or 29" monitor less than £200 that doesn't give headaches

- really like the Dell 27" U2715H but too much for me right now.

What stand do you have, can you link please?

No stock.

COLD

Pc world are the worst they post these deals. Have 0 in stock anywhere then they go back to full price and amazing all the shops are stocked up again

These have a totally unacceptable level of light bleed. Took me three months to get my money back from LG under the threat of legal action after two failed "repairs" which did nothing. Pot luck if you get one with or without.

Read up online, you'll see just how widespread the problem is. I literally wouldn't have one if they gave it to me for free.

I bought this from Currys on Sunday they had one left and a display one too (Bare in mind some stores have display models but won't show online so you may be able to get the display one off them) do you think they'll refund me the price difference as I paid £249.97

I believe they price match, along as its within 7 days from the purchase date. Though not sure if that applies to ex-demo. Its worth going in and asking.

Shame it's only 95.81 Pixels per inch, rather than the 25 inch version at 111.14 PPI, ideally you want over 100 PPI for a nice experience at a desk.

Maybe the total response? Pixel + input delay.

Quite annoying they can't tell you where it is in stock to see if worth driving to.

Q: How do old FPS games (UT99) released for 4:3 monitors work at 21:9??! Would they have to run in a vertical letterbox or is their another way?

I got used from amazon , I wish had earlier! Great monitor for developers!

Widescreen mods/hacks can be found for many older games.
