Good price for a 21:9 1080P monitor,
Imagine playing Fifa on this 😃
Can this be used for a ps4 pro?

I’d guess do but you’ll have black bars on the screen as no console supports any ratio other than 16:9

Thought so, cheers
Does anyone know if this is the height equivalent of a standard21.5 or 23?
Good reviews as well

Has vesa holes in the back, only thing I'd be cautious about is the cables are coming out the back perpendicular, so will either have to stand off the wall quite a bit or look at right-angled connectors

Cheers thank you.
How much difference in user experience between the 25 to 29 inch.

I am thinking to flog off my 25inch to 29inch

While this is a good price for this monitor (voted hot), imo the resolution was too low for the size of the screen, so I sold mine.

I find this really depends on the user. I have a 34" ultrawide which suits my graphics/video work just fine at 2560x1080. But, for some people, anything around this size (akin to 27" 16:9) is not for them.
This monitor is on my wishlist every year. Keen to get one but I already have 27" Acer with gsync. Just wish I bought this instead of Acer
Ahh bought one. 25 inch upgrade to 29. Not much of difference but...
No Display Port so FreeSync won't work with Nvidia cards.
Hey guys, if I brought this and used my ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278QR 27 on a 2070super GPU , would you think it will hinder the performance? I be using the Asus for gaming and thinking I could use this for browsing watching Netflix etc

No, but you'd need a big desk to fit both monitors on, lol.
What is the refresh rate of this monitor?
One issue is if you get ultrawide all other screens just seem inadequate.
Hot.

These aren't really designed for.video as most video is 16:9 so you end up with black borders on the side.

Ultrawide at this resolution is only really good for for gaming (productivity I would get a 1440p version even if not ultrawide) but will not be better than a ROG screen quality wise.
5ms? I suppose it's a good deal for turn-based games.

You can, but you'd only get a 16:9 picture.

You missing the point. This is not like 1080p on 29 inch. Hight is like 1080p on 24 inch, wide is 2560 pixels.

Oh yeah sorry didn't see that it wasn't 1920 my bad!
displaywars.com/ helpfull to see how this compare to 16:9. Hope this helps.

60Hz officially but seen lots of reports of people overclocking it to 75Hz with no issues.

Except movies which are roughly 21:9
Would this be any good for design? I have no need for gaming!

Illustration mainly, need a good monitor for high dpi Photoshop stuff.

I have a slightly older LG model and it's height is roughly equivalent to a 23.6"/24" monitor.

Tbh this monitor wouldn't give you the dpi you need. It's basically two 22" monitors stuck together. You really want a standard but high resolution screen.

So best to go 1440p you reckon? Any good panels you can recommend?
