I don't get many opportunities to post deals, as I don't live in the the U.K! Maybe this is a first, I don't know?

Thanks for all the times this site has helped me, very grateful to the contributors for that. It helps me to plan how to spend my money when I come over!

Anyhow, I've been looking at smart watches for a while now and finally settled on this. It has been this price before, recently and may have been even cheaper in the past. But right now, this is as cheap as I can find one for. Hope I'm right.

This is a gift...

*edit* turns out that these watches may be supplied "new" but in an opened box both from amazon and scan direct. So as long as the prices are cheaper on scan, I would suggest buying from them direct to save a few quid.

Bargain for this, but for me personally find it a bit ugly. still

I have one of these and a steel bracelet improves the appearance no end. And it's just had an update to Android Watch 2.0.

Yes, it's not the prettiest. I liked the huawei classic. I'm a fan of huawei since the p6 phone tbh (though it was impossible to repair). However, I looked at it yesterday and it just felt a little plasticky. Most of the bad comments about this watch is about the size, but I've measured my wrist and I think I can just about pull it off! This watch had a few more features than the huawei classic reading some compare websites.

How much is the steel strap? Also is this better than a huawei watch?

Tom6195 - you can buy a 22mm steel strap on amazon for like 11 or 12 pounds. Supposedly easy to fit.

I got this one for 12 quid but it's gone up in price now amazon.co.uk/gp/…SZ2

Tempted to get one for my dad but both he and I have really skinny wrists lol

on the Scan website:
"Please note: These are open box products in as new condition, Grade A+"

Are these any good? This is me asking about user feedback e.g. from those who own 'em as opposed to the specs I've read

Battery life?

Annoying stuff - e.g. bugs...

What type of features should have been added?

The who-are-we watch looks really nice, so nice it would be my go to watch for all occasions, including it being my 'dress watch' it just looks effeminate when it's side by side the Eljeee

The LG however looks more 'manly' and much more bulky! compared to the Huawei

The damn iFruit watch is annoying me so much, there are days where I am having to put it on charge at work because the batteries dying.

So these are Grade A right?

Tom6195. There's absolutely nothing I can see on the amazon website to say this isn't a brand-spanking-new watch. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't think it was anything but. Also, another place has this listing as it being a new watch. Hope that helps.

I see your point. I presume there wouldn't be any issues with returns if required?

My Moto 360 v2 got the screenburn so has very limited use now. - looking for another smart watch to replace it so have gone for this at the price.

Definitely new in the description.

I've never had an issue with scan when I've needed to use their customer service. Bought a motherboard and processor from Them when I lived in the U.K. The processor fried so drove over to them and they tested it and it was faulty, at their expense of another processor. It was a no quibble replacement. Kind of put me off building my own PCs, though. now I stick to raspberry pi

Tempted although old tech in terms of version Bluetooth and 802.11g etc.... Not a bad price but will hang on I think

saw this yesterday they also have refurbished Sony SW3 for around £42

I've got the SW3, and its worth the £42 in my opinion. I'm not sold on the whole smartwatch thing, but for £42 to see if you'll get on with one, that's worth a pop.

No nfc on this bad boy from memory so no android pay..

Is this reasonable uk deals? Nope, therefore I can't vote hot.

Hehehe. I used the term reasonable as i was a little unsure if it was hot when I posted it. It was the cheapest new one I could find, but it's a little hard to be a U.K. Bargain hunter as I don't live in the U.K.

The post was more a way to hopefully pay it forward to others in the community for posting deals that have helped me in the past, and also for peace of mind that this purchase price was ok.

Not bothered if it went hot or not, just happy it didn't go freezing with lots of reasons as to why people voted cold. That would have been a bit harder to take as the purchase had already been made

looks much better in the metal than it does in pictures.

Have Android Wear V2 now too, great improvement over the original OS.

On this watch? I've just been looking on XDA and some users are suggesting that it's laggy on this watch.

I've had one of these watches since Black Friday 2015. After Android Wear 2.0 battery life has greatly improved. Pairs even better with my iPhone

....also got both a screen protector and a stainless steel strap and a spare charger from ali express for a couple of quid

So no lag as such?

Got this watch also on Android 2.0 and its brilliant no lag etc.. not sure where thats coming from.. and im getting easily 2 days of battery now, it was good before, but now its even better.

Its extremely waterproof too.. a few times forgot to take it off and showered with it on, no effect to the leather strap too.

Really want an Android pay smart watch.
£329 is the cheapest at the moment though

Top price. It is massive though.

love this watch, bought mine secondhand as new condition, similar price to this, my only complaint, could do with a charging port, for the times you don't have the dock available

How long do these take to charge ?

mine just updated to wear 2 but now I can't mute my lg g4 from the watch anymore, everything else seems to work ok though, anyone else had this problem?
I bought watch maker premium from Google store, some amazing watch faces available through that
