First time I have seen this available in the UK. Hooray! This is the model from the UK LG website and would work on the 4G networks. There has been some confusion as to whether this is being released in the UK so hopefully here is the answer. I used Handtec many years ago with no problem and they seem to have maintained a good rep according to my quick google check :-)

Got to be one of the the most anticipated phones for 2016 (in the UK at least)

Spec below.

Been hoping this would get a UK release.

This is one of the most interesting phones out there for me. Hope ee stock it as I get friends and family discount with their contracts. But chances are that carriers will ignore this.

personally I'd wait for the G5 in a few months

That the H961 matey - 4G network is the issue there.

Risky paying £480 for a LG flagship...

Been available at Clove for a little while too. Couple of quid more but I'd rather deal with them than Handtec. Wouldn't personally buy an LG for more than £300 again - always feel a bit robbed a couple of months later when they have dropped by £200!

I'm the same with Sony. releasing a flagship phone emery 6 months means my 2 year old. Z1 is not worth a lot.

If you are an early adopter, yes you can get robbed. On the other hand, wait a few months and get £200 off and a flagship for only £300. What's not to like?

On the other side of the fence, those iOS people are still having to pay £600 retail even 6 months after release, (and that's only for the 16GB version without expandable storage!)

I'm one of those iOS people I'm afraid. I've just paid £439 in Game for an iPhone 6 Plus - a 16 month old phone - because the apps, services, software support and updates, as well as integration with my MacBook, add value to it beyond mere specifications. I do like Android but always feel like I'm fighting a losing battle to keep up with constant new hardware, and gradually every member of my family seems to be getting iPhones too! I also value wifi calling on EE too, and the only SIM free phone that supports it is the iPhone for some annoying reason.
