I like a good duel but I don't want my SIM cards fighting all the time

£581.99 after 3EARLY code

Giving it heat purely for the headphone jack. Long live 3.5mm

This is the new hand set I'll probably end up with, and more then likely from eGlobal. However, that being said I am waiting for them to update to 8.0 first, and also see what issues there are/if any from the early adopters. The bonus being, by the time I've waited it will be £400

Really liked the look of this, but the screen is supposed to be crap. Shame because it looks great.

Very interested in this
Have some heat

Scrap that, some reviews say the screen is great. Voted hot.

Haha exactly the same. Currently have G5 and skipping the 6 for this. I'm torn between V30 and Pixel 2.

Was in the same boat myself and was going to go the Pixel Xl but the price gap is too big for me. Also want the headphone jack.

I think anyone thinking of buying this should know what the issues are and ask themselves what percentage of the time it will affect them. I suspect it will be less than 10% for most people.

A few years ago I bought the Mrs a G Flex 2 which also had a POLED screen. All the reviews said the screen was crap but I didn't see any issues with it apart from brightness in high sunlight. Would have still picked it over an LCD.

All these review trashing the screen can also be good news for people on this site. £350 on black Friday?

Unless you are referring to weapons at dawn it's spelled dual sim.

just waiting for someone to mention bootloop promblem, even though bootloops haven't happened since the G4....

Good price atm...just a heads up, I have notice eG keep inflating the prices(in general) the last couple of weeks, so even with a discount code, they're higher than a month ago...most probably don't expect super hot deals on Black Friday, 11.11, etc...

Is this better than samsung s8?

Is this better than samsung s8?

If you are seriously interested about good sound and video postprocessing , yes. Otherwise it's more down to personal preference.

What's the warranty situation on these.

Every LG phone I have has been RMA'd for classic common issues G3, G4 and G5.

Just be careful with EglobalCentral and LG. My nexus5x was sourced from Australia via Eglobal (unbeknownst to me) and it was only when I spoke to LG who confirmed it via the IMEI that it had to be sent to Eglobal for the warranty, LG didn't want to know. I never got my phone back after 6 weeks of emails back and forth, only a 60% credit on their site. And yes and am fully aware that's just my experience, but I thought I'd share as 600 is a lot for a iffy warranty. Read their T&C's carefully

An interesting way to spell dual, wrong of course. I imagine two SIM cards duelling it out. I laughed out loud last night when I watched Central News and they showed an article on road resurfacing and they spelt it reserfacing on the caption and that was the BBC!

Anyway back to this phone. Decent chipset class leading on Android until the Snap 836 appears or other Qualcomm successor, likely to be in 2018 now anyway. The Note 8 is the obvious competitor, a better phone but more expensive. Plus I don't like Samsung with their hopeless updates and the Note 8 is using Exynos so no chance of custom ROMs to extend the life of the phone beyond the latest OS that Samsung put on the phone. Phones are too expensive now really. it has got a bit silly. Personally I would get a used Sony XZ Premium for £400 or less from CEX and save the money.

This is a lot of money to pay for no warranty.

Currency fluctuations?

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Every order I've placed with eGlobal has been flawless. Most recently, a 64GB LG G6, with dual sim and HiFi Quad DAC. International model, so came with US charger (fine since we visit family regularly, and genuine UK was £7 on eBay) All in, £311. Very happy. Yes, I may run into issues if I need to RMA, but at that price, I'm happy to take the risk.

Bought my G6 from eglobal and it was decent. Nothing to pay at customs etc (may have just been lucky)

But my g6 was around £300 and this is near £600 which is nearly double.

For a slightly better cam, less PPI, next up processor, same battery, bluetooth 5.0 and thats pretty much it compared to the G6.

Probably not worth it in terms of "phone value" but good price compared to what other retailers are selling it at

I had a play around with it myself. The screen is pretty good but that’s what you’d expect on an OLED screen. In my opinion the screen on the G6 is better. But that’s only my opinion. The colours on the screen of the G6 are more life like whereas with the V30 the colours are over saturated.

Oh dear. Spelled and spelt are actually both right.

£550/630€ for an S8 Plus, complete with a Samsung UK covered EU 24 month warranty.

V30 is great for video blogging, but trusting LG and eGlobal with £600 is madness.

That's a great price. But why is Amazon Italy consistently cheaper?

Did anyone order it yet? I really want this phone. What can go wrong ordering from eglobal and paying with paypal? I have seen many comments about eglobal which aren't positive at all

Depends on the item and when you look, statistically it isn't the cheapest Amazon EU site:

the screen is good in terms of saturation, brightness etc but it seems LG just dont have uniformity down like Samsung do (i.e. white is a different shade in different parts of the screen)

Pixel 2 is exactly the same. For most people it wont be an issue, only the really picky ones (like me)

Yeah, as I said the ordering and delivery we're fine, just the RMA side.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good phone at a good price. But £600 is a lot of cash for a seller with an iffy reputation when things go wrong. I've got nothing against eGlobalCentral - I've had three phones from them and a few other bits without issue - but I wouldn't gamble £600 of my hard earned cash.

That's why i stayed away from this years pixels. Gonna wait and see what next year brings. I thinks it's going to take a while for Google to find their feet in manufacturing but I can't see LG being invited back...

I had the Google Nexus s ... Manufactured by Samsung superb phone got 150 on eBay when I sold it a year later. I also got the Nexus 4 by LG which wasn't so good but these phones where the phones to be on. I think Chinese is the way to go now and the mi A1 on singles day at 150 makes LG look like expensive garbage. If you get a rogue phone from Singapore chuck it to eBay and simply get another it will be cheaper than this. Cold I'm afraid

Google bought 2500 HTC engineers last month, so there's a hint for you.

Anyone enquired when are they shipping them?
