Very tempted at this price point. Obviously the Vodafone contract offers a better deal but I know some will be put off by the network. Hope this helps!

O2:

  • 3GB Data
  • Unlimited Mins
  • Unlimited Texts

  • £0.99 upfront cost
  • £27.00 per month
  • £648.99 total cost over 2 years

VODAFONE:

  • 4GB Data
  • Unlimited Mins
  • Unlimited Texts

  • £100.00 upfront cost
  • £23.00 per month
  • £652 total cost over 2 years

Red Extra plan which includes global roaming - "You can now benefit from Vodafone Global roaming if you have a any Vodafone Pay Monthly plan. The Vodafone Global Roaming plan enables you to use your UK bundle of minuets, texts and data in 110 destinations worldwide."

  • Potential £20 Quidco.
  • Potentially use payday10 or myaccount10 for £10 off. The second requires an account to be created.

Not a bad deal for a phone that's very well equipped and kind of falls under the radar.

I bought this on o2 before Christmas. I pay £29/mth but get 12GB of data and it only cost me £90. Not sure this is the best deal?

That sounds like a decent deal, however the £786 total you're paying is a fair bit more to pay if you don't use that much data. I use my phone daily for spotify/facebook/browsing and rarely get anywhere close to 4GB.

Cracking deal, with a cracking phone!
The phone is more or less worth £5-600 on its own!
3GB of data isn't enough for me on O2 and Vodafone don't like me, do I'll leave to pass!
You can get £10 off the handset price, by using code "VC10OFF".
Amazingly hot. Cheaper than the G6 yet cheaper. If I could've had this phone on EE I would've went for it over the S8 but hey ho.
Good luck getting lg honour there warrenty, my nexus 5x developed bootloop issue, a manufacture issue which in usa they settled with lawsuit with hundreds of dollar compensation. But they told me to basically **** off and refuse repair because it a US lawsuit and doesnt apply in UK, and blame it on moisture damage instead of the their manufacture issue

Sounds rough, they repaired mine quite happily for the same issue.
not enough data

So its basically f'ck this guy in particular? funny thing is i sent to carphonewarehouse first and they say its moisture damage, then i sent it to LG, its foreign liquid contaminate and third party repair damage....it get worst every time, though i wonder what foreign liquid could be.

whatever the case i will stay far away from LG now on
I remember when LG where Gold star utter garbage. Does this phone brick itself with a boot loop error
Maybe wait until mobile world Congress later this month as apparently updated version of this coming out which may lower the price further

Happened to me too. Luckily I bought the phone from Argos and they were fantastic and gave me a voucher for the current value of the phone. Got £100+ to put towards a new one. Better than nothing.
Is it worth waiting on this till after the 4%RPI increase in April?
Price is being slashed as a refresh in the form is V30s has been launched. Nevertheless, it's a great phone.

Waste of time releasing the 30s as only changes are extra storage and 2gb extra ram. Both run on Snapdragon 835. Would have been worthwhile going with the 845 coupled with the extra ram
Unless your really into the quad dac, you might aswell get a contract for the s9 for £200 more which will also have more data.

Yeah. Basically every 2018 smartphone and TV. Minor changes not worthy of an upgrade if you have one from the last couple years.
shame about the screen. was gonna go for the mate 10 pro, but no wireless charging or headphone jack. may as well stick with the s7 and get a sim only deal. All other "flagships" way too overpriced.

Comparing s9 deals on uswitch cheapest option is £32 per month with £190 upfront which equals £310 overall dearer than this deal. Fair enough you get 12gb data but I don't use much data anyway.
totally misread as £99 upfront! aaaand ORDERED. Cheers op! After the £450 phone value, works out at under £8.50pm for this if it was sim only. happy to jump ship from EE for this.
Excellent deal for a superb phone
Just 2gb's more and I would have gone for this.

what about huawie p10 at 349?
I went into cpw, ee, vodafone and o2 shop and they didn't have the v30 in any of the shops.

I've currently got the s7 edge and not sure if worth upgrading?

Anyone with v30 recommend it?

It's a cracking phone.

Read/watch some review on it to help you decide.

Rare for a phone this good to have such a low up front cost.

Does it come eith BandO hearphones when ordered from mobiles.co.uk? Also, cant find the Vodafone deal as posted anymore. May be I am blind!
Just ordered two for me and my wife. Superb deal for a top end phone like this.

I did get bootloop issues on my LG G4 but LG fixed it without any problems at all.
This still seems like a decent deal - does anyone know if it's possible to up the amount of data after purchase? And if so how much would it be to change to 4gb or 5gb?
