Seems a good price for a great phone

Isn't it £799 everywhere? Including Carphone Warehouse and mobiles.co.uk?

Probably worth waiting for price to drop. LG phones lose value very fast.

Is it a step up from the s8?. I suspect not which makes this ridiculously expensive.

Wow why would LG Price this device so high ?

Looks like a great phone shame they had to ditch the removable battery of the v20. It will be sub £500 in a few months. looking forward to seeing a dxomark review. The wide angle cameras on LG's are great

It's exclusive to Carphone Warehouse so possibly less likely to go down in price than previous LG handsets.

Oh wow, I didn't know this phone was available at CPW! The v10 and v20 were a no show in this country (had to import them) and I was expecting the same for this phone too. This doesn't seem like such a great deal if it's available at CPW.

Does the wallpaper looks like half of that one from new iPhone 10 ? Ot its just me...

I like my V20, so I was wondering, not enough to go looking mind, how much the V30 was. £799 - really? Wow, that is ridiculously expensive.

8 hundred quid for a mobile phone? Ye feckin gods.

It does actually. Considering that the V30 was announced on August 31st, I guess Apple copied LG?

I would rather go for the note 8 to be honest as you can pick em cheaper now if you look around.

Can't wait to get this phone but cold from me this is the RRP. Probably get mine when it gets into the 600s

How is this a DEAL ?!? Great phone though

Would not touch another LG phone after the V10 went into the boot loop mode after less than 18 months and LG refused to do anything about it. Went with the Galaxy S8 and Iam far happier with that than the LG. Poor customer service and poor battery life with LG phones.

Not really, same processor and storage although the LG has dual cameras (second one is ultra wide rusher than telephoto) and it has a quad dac to enhance audio. However the camera sensors are smaller and haven't been as good as Samsung in the past and I suspect most people won't notice the benefit of the quad dac.

I was interested in the phone but they've priced it far too high as they did the G6

Blimy I thought I was going mad paying £600 for the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Always buy on credit card.... then go to ur credit card company when things go wrong. Works with imports too

S8 Plus was £779 at launch though and was essentially an updated S8.
Still cheaper than this though. However I'd argue the V30 is overall a superior phone comparing the two.

If you’re looking to buy a phone and keep it for two years this is probably true. The problem with LG is that their phone value sinks like a stone after a very small amount of time, so unless you really love LG and keep their phones for ages, £799 will lose you as much as £450 within just a few months. Places are practically giving the G6 away now, and it was the same with the G5 and G4.

It seems that £800 is new average price for flagship phones now. I always wait for over 6 months after device launch especially for Android phones

Phones with audio as good as the G5, V30 or even the V20 aren't that common it seems.
That's why I'd still be using my G5 if I hadn't lost it.

The G5 audio is no better than the G6. It just happens to have a B&O DAC ‘friend’ add-on available for it. You can use that DAC with other USB C devices though I think - so might be a good thing to purchase from Cex where they’re about £28.

£649 from Wondamobile for the Koran version

They both have the same power output?
The G6 has two different DACs. One has a quad DAC by B&O and the other has a single Qualcomm one I believe.
