Battery lasts great actually. One of the best of all the flagships in multiple tests. Maybe research before making wild rubbish comments.

All you need is Xposed and Nova Launcher these days.
I'll buy it when it's been rooted, will probably be £100 less by then too. Will miss the ir blaster and removable battery on my v20, but the v30 just looks way better

Another thing about this phone is it is light as hell. Looking at it you would think it would be around 200g but it is only 158g. Very light.

Beats all the other flagships for battery life. Check YouTube for comparison videos. Xcheetah places it no 1.

Where do you get this info from? Things are alot more energy efficient than they used to be.

I have a pixel 2 XL which has the same CPU and screen, battery only slightly bigger and last weekend hit 8hrs screen on time.
This keeps tempting me..........

This or Oneplus 5t ? Thoughts ?

Both excellent phones - got them both. Say the LGV30+ is the better - light as a feather but far from feeling cheap, excellent battery life, slim and slender, DAC chip for music with a classic and timeless headphone jack, SD card for more memory.

The only -ve feature is the front cam - truly atrocious - dont take selfies though cos I'm not a woman or vain (awaits backlash).

This has to be the best phone in the last of the headphone jacks fight back - too bad LG comp. messed up the launch

I'd say probability is none. eGlobal have taken care of that by shipping to a warehouse in the UK thus you are not the destined recipient. You receive it from the UK address.

I know this because when I received mine it had a UK address on it as a return thus they either ship directly to their storage address at time of order or already have a supply there, thus when you order it will contain ONLY a UK address on it as the sender - for the purpose of tracking and signature on delivery.

They are effectively avoiding paying duties for importing and we as the customer are also saving - before you start complaining about that - OnePlus are also doing the exact same thing - asked for a VAT invoice and they said no, we cant issue as we dont pay it ourselves!

If you're unhappy about NOT paying additional BS charges please donate to the government personally...

LG V30+ easily - due to storage expansion & the DAC chip (need high impedance headphones +50 ohm).
Why not?!?

of course is matter, lg releases max 1 extra android release and you are stacked, if you unlock bootloader, to you can run customs roms, for me this is crucial, i had bad memories with lg flex 2
Is it worth it taking a risk going with eglobal? I saw few good deals before but because of bad reviews never bought anything. What u say?

basically you buying without warranty, if something goes wrong you have to ship to hong kong, means a lot for shipping, if royal mail parcel surely honna be lost somewhere

Nonsense - Ordered mine and comes via courier service NOT Royal Mail, in addition registered mine on LGs UK Website and have 2 years warranty.

Get your facts in order before your guess the answer.

eGlobal are absolutely garbage - thats probably the only issue with the handset - the retailer. You will get your order but the timing of receiving it is a mystery no-one can answer. There is zero customer service - you will get your questions answered but always to your dissatisfaction.

Ordered twice - once it took a month with excuses after excuses and 2nd time got within 7 days. Problem is the alternative is paying full price from a UK retailer - 800 or something over here? Screw that! Order on CC and if it doesnt arrive within 2 weeks max, cancel - they will refund you.
Got an 82 on DXO Mark. To give a quick update;

V30 - 82
G6 - 84
HTC U11 - 88
Pixel 2/2XL - 98
Note 8 - 94
Mate 10 Pro - 97
iPhone X - 95
iPhone 8+ - 94

Not all. Some. The Note 8, for example.

It fails to beat the Pixel 2 XL, Mate 10 Pro or iPhone 8+

Is this still the case? My HK lg g6 triggers the quad dac with every set of headphones and earphones I've tried and thats quite a few. I doubt any of them are 50ohm.
Any tips on best colour ?

Is it hybrid or it has separate micro sd slot like the V20? I am still using the V20 but my gripe with LG is the lack of quick updates. Still stuck on 7.0

Did re-read it then and saw I quoted Royal Mail as delivery here in the UK when you were referring to an international location if you dont use a courier. Was going to correct myself but then thought what imbecile would send an expensive product internationally without a using an established courier service? Why even suggest Royal mail as an alternative? Then couldnt be bothered to be honest because you can register it with LG UK so why are you sending it to Hong Kong?!?
