no wifi in this phone , no gps also...

No Wi-Fi is a major let down.

No Wi-Fi would kill this deal if it was for me too but for my young daughter she doesn't need Wi-Fi as it's for texting her friends and taking good pics whilst out and about that matters to her.

Yes the no Wi-Fi is a shame but this is a good deal otherwise

Am I the only person who doesnt care for wifi on a phone unless its an iPhone or a HTC? I always find browsing through wifi on a phone like a nokia etc. very slow and cumbersome.

This phone has a big touch-screen so would be no different from an iPhone to use wifi if it had it... bit of a silly phone in the end.

No wifi - no deal

Wifi aside, it's an awful phone!

You expect to pay more than 60-odd quid for wifi anyway, (or at least I do, if you don't have to, let me know where!) so stop hating on it for that reason.

3g was more of a shock than wifi to find it doesn't have to be honest. I feel less bad about having just got a samsung tocco off ebay now.

Overall seems a pretty good deal if you're using one of the "normal" networks.

Hi wondering if you can use the club card voucher exchange (you know they offer you double the vouchers on certain things like phones) this would bring the price down by 50% ?

This is true but a wifi dongle costs about a quid, surely the same thing inside a mobile phone can't be that more expensive to make. It's the phone companies trying to make it seem like an expensive feature?

the touch screen is worse than the n97.

No I mean, the software on the iphone and HTCs, bundled with the capacitive touchscreen make it great and easy to use. I used the browser on the LG renoir and it was horrible. Resistive touchscreens are terrible.

You should be able to, it def covers PAYG mobile phones (not monthly payable ones)

not a good phone

This is the kind of phone you'd wish on your worst enemy

Yes we did this to get this phone for my 12 year old. So it worked out £35 - worth it

Tellys aren't on the list of things you can exchange them for, are they? How did they get away with that?
