User reviews seem solid. If you just want a lot of screen for your money and aren't overly fussy on quality this is a fantastic buy.

]PC Advisor review (bearing in mind that that was based on a price of £165 and it's even better value here)

Apart from the lack of DVI input, it does sound like a decent monitor for the price.

For an extra quid there is the LG W2252S, which has a listed contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a gloss black finish (as well as what seems to be some other features on the] LG product homepage)

For not much more you'll be able to pick one up with 1000:1 contrast ratio & DVIThis LG the same specs and looks more like a Samsung (nicer): http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143050#

Another good deal, but I wouldn't put too much faith in specs. I always insist on decent reviews to back it up.

I've seen screens with quality that belies their specs and others which definitely don't live up to their claims.

that is 1000:1

quoying DCP is getting worse than cheap cameras quoting digital zoom.

Staying on the 200- price range, considering I deal with design (e.g. autocad, 3dsmax etc etc) what screen would you suggest? A part from the fact that the dvi keeps it digital, how important is it?

What monitor(s) would you suggest me? I'm totally lost!

Would this work with a ps3 - what cable would I need to connect to it?
