cool,so (forgive my lack of knowledge)
does this mean i can output 3D movies to the plasma screen and watch full on 3D films without paying out for a 3D TV?

Will I need a 3d graphics card to use this?

what do you mean by a 3d graphics card? I'm pretty sure it will work as a regular 2D monitor with any video adapter but in order to display 3d you will need a card with drivers that supports it.

Very good deal, if I didn't pick up the 23" samsung the other week for £97 I would consider this due to the high refresh rate.

hum i was thinking for computer gaming, its basically the same as red cyan films but to a higher standard cause everything is processed using a graphic card the computer knows the depth of all objects so can compute the off put with films its input manually until the new dual cameras system. So you will only get red cyan 3d now for films what you can look into is getting hold of a 3d video player software that allows you to play the movie in any standard cross eyed or red cyan think there some software out there that allows you to choose what type of 3d you want from the movie but it might need to be a specific format (which should be pretty descent with the new films cause you'll get the same depth for its filmed with dual cameras) don't know if i have explained myself well... You'll only get red cyan 3d on a normal screen with 60hz refresh...

The over option to do it on the cheap is get out an old crt monitor or normal tv (not flat) they are normally round 100 to 120hz and therefore support polarized 3d so if you get hold of polarized glasses the ones they have at cinemas should do and an old monitor you could probably play superior 3d which in practice only reduces the red blue tint of the image... Also if you have perfect vision in each eye the red blue should not be noticeable.

Think iv explained it alright! but to be honest the cheap side of good 3d is a lot to do with luck wither or not your crt screen is supported by iZ3D...

Will I need a 3d graphics card to use this?

If by 3d graphic card you mean a nvidea card then technically no iZ3D has produced the necessary drivers think you have to pay for the software though. On the over hand what you do need is a descent graphic card

nvidia.com/obj…tml

From personnel experience the more you pay the better the 3d experience will be a graphic card round 60 70£ gt220 will be nice for movies and some games round 2006 but for a descent quality full experience try 120£ a gtx 460 is perfect for 2009 games.

Just check your card on benchmarks to see...

videocardbenchmark.net/hig…tml

Compare your card to the gtx 460 and the gt220

Edit: for movies think its more the processor that matters

Custardy here is the program i was thinking of

3dtv.at/Ind…spx

Will allow you to insert you 3d dvd and select which format you want it to play in red cyan for example....

might make a post about it cause to be honest this 3d has been extremely hyped up over the last few year been around since the 80's and before

lots of info
regarding GFX cards,Im running a GTX 460,so should have enough grunt

just ordered cost £169.21 delivered..thanks,,i was looking to replace my lg w2361v which has been brilliant,,just got to sell it now.lol

guessing so depends on you processor for videos but guessing from the graphics card that you have a recent build so should be fine...

So you just gonna get hold of the software and try playing 3d films in red cyan?

Iv used it before once to play a film in 3d red cyan that was polarized took a bit of messing around but worked well in the end
