Great machines (when they work) but the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, to the point where I will never buy another LG product again.
i see the lg f4j610ss is back down to £400 and the lgf4j6610ws both at currys whats the differance between the two models.
If your considering the 10KG models, Hughes at £384 warrants serious consideration because the customer service experience is much better than Currys.

The problem with Currys is the first time delivery failure failure rate is high. Look at the complaints on TrustPilot and on their Facebook page.

My family have had multiple issues with both the delivery and the Know How installation team who didn't test the washer properly (they left a faulty machine) and they stuck the non slip pads to the feet, instead of the floor. How gormless!

Save yourself a load of grief and get it from Hughes!

I agree about currys.what I'm triying to find out is the model differance between the two model.
The difference between the two 10KG models is the colour only. The specs are identical. But the differences between this model and the 10KG models are steam, metallic door trim, metallic program dial and illuminated on/off buttons and start/pause buttons. That's it.
According to Which? LG washers tend to clean very well but be slow and use more water and electricity than other brands.

Seem to be. I saw a review which compares LG to Whirlpool in terms of reliability which would be the kiss of death these days but other than that LG are ok.

Whirlpool have been dealt a bad hand because the problematic models were from the Indesit owned era.

Whirlpool's own models have generally been pretty good. This also means improvements in quality to the latest Hotpoint and Indesit product ranges too.

In terms of reliability, LG are amongst the best. I'm on my 3rd LG washer and is used nearly every day and sometimes twice daily. The first two washers still lasted 9 years before the bearings wore out. If you read the various Reevo reviews, many customers are reporting longer lifespans than that and even 12-15 years isn't that uncommon. For a sub £400 machine, that is outstanding.

It's not just about the reliability though, these machines excel in all areas, except for water hammer, which for me, isn't a problem.
Whichever label was on the company when the machines were manufactured cannot excuse the years long delay by Whirlpool in issuing the recalls for washers and dryers.
19/12/19 Kessingland - dryer catches fire.

Confirmed to be a Whirlpool machine.
I would not touch LG, if something goes wrong you will be in a pickle.

I personally will never buy an LG product after this washer gave me so many problems and customer service was poor to say the least.
In store this had a 5 year warranty sticker on the machine? What are the difference between this and the lg at sonicdirect?

Sonic Direct, Marks Electricals and Hughes version have steam and metallic trim, but identical in all other respects.
The space we have is tight, we have a gap of exactly 60cm. Will this fit?

The recess dimensions for the machine specifies 64cm width. There's a possibly this may not fit
Silly question, what does recess dimensions mean? Is that the minimum space required?

That's right, it's the manufacturer's recommended minimum space
