A wash that's kind to your clothes

Preserve the softness and texture of your clothes from the first wash to the last with the LG F4J609WN NFC 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine.

If you've noticed the quality of your clothes deteriorating wash after wash, this could be because your washing machine drum is battering them. LG's patented 6 Motion Direct Drive technology moves the drum in multiple different ways, to best suit the material of what you're washing, delivering a perfect, gentle wash to everything from denim to woollens. Your clothes will be as soft as the day you bought them.

With fewer moving parts, the F4J609WN also makes less vibration, which means it's quieter, more reliable and more energy efficient - it's a win all round.

A smart washing machine

Connect the F4J609WN to your mobile with the SmartThinQ app and download specialised wash cycles, such as Baby Care or Cold Wash. Just hold your Android smartphone over the Tag On icon on your machine to upload and start the cycle.

And you can prevent any potential problems with the Smart Diagnosis app. It identifies any issues with your machine before it's too late, saving you the inconvenience of ringing up a call centre.

Nothing forgotten with Pause & Add

If you've dropped a sock on the way to the machine, there's nothing more annoying than knowing it will have to wait for the next wash and probably never get back to its partner. With Pause & Add, you can pause the wash at any time and add those extra dropped or forgotten bits in - perfect for keeping socks together.
If you click through or buy, retailers may pay hotukdeals some money, but this never affects which deals get posted. Find more info in our FAQs and About Us page.

"60° wash time 293 minutes for 9 kg". The Xmas turkey is quicker!
A great buy, barring some questionable customer service issues with Currys.

The 10KG models for £379 using the same code are also a great buy, available in white or graphite with the added benefits of steam, a metallic look program dial and illuminated on/off and start/pause buttons.

Just ordered this afternoon, worth it for the 5 year warranty and 10 year warranty on the inverter motor

I considered the 10kg one when I seen the link last night but when looking at the dimensions I was put off, I couldn't justify it for the sake of 1kg extra.

Both great deals, mine came in at £303 using a voucher scheme through work.
Voted hot . But I have the 15kg washer dryer so don't need it .
Is there a smaller model that is cheaper I'm happy with 8/7kg that's still plenty of room.
There is a smaller 8KG model but it isn't on offer and only has a 2 year guarantee not 5 like this one.

Go for the 10KG model. It's stronger, just as energy efficient because it weighs the load and adjusts the washing time accordingly and you'll be thankful for it when you want to wash your duvet, big winter coat and your holiday laundry.
Samsung or LG that is the question?

From my research I'd go LG, well I have as I've just purchased this one

Where did you see that it weighs the load? I've been doing some research and I've not found anything that suggests this, from reviews or even on the LG website. The newer ones with the AI DD feature sort of hint at that but it's not very clear if that is what they actually do. It would be great if there was a clear source you could point me towards that clears up which LG models can and can't do that please.

It's a core feature of LG's entire range as far as I'm aware. One of the icons in the display panel is weighing scales. The newer AI models takes this a step further by adjusting the amount of detergent. IMHO the AI models look overpriced compared to their previous generation counterparts, so I wouldn't go for these until there is a circa £100 price drop.

I concur. LG's reputation for build quality, reliability and longevity trumps Samsung.

The 9kg doesn't do the same ? Adjusting to the load ?

Can still get the duvet in the 9 kg ? Can't imagine it's a huge difference in space between the two ?
Is there any cashback or deals to stack with this offer ?
Guess they dont do nectar or anything like that

That's my worry. Similar price at John Lewis tho...

I think the steam only applies to the baby wash?

Seems like a better deal comes out now everyday as we get closer to Black Friday

I guess best to wait a few more days as the deals will just get better
Should get this or similar for 299 Black Friday or maybe less

The steam function though is useful because it kills off the dust mites and leaves the fabrics feeling really soft. But, barring that and the cosmetic embellishments, (chrome lined door, metallic look dial and illuminated buttons) the 9KG model retains all the remaining core features of it's bigger brother.

Ahhh so the 10kg looks a lot better .. dam like the sound of chrome lined door & illuminated buttons , can’t imagine why they wouldn’t do the same for the 9kg

I don’t mind the steam feature missing but the chrome & lights are a big deal

I would be very surprised if you can get a core default designed LG in that price range. Historically, only Argos have sold sub £300 LG washings as clearance deals. Unfortunately Argos stopped selling LG Washing Machines about 3 months ago.

Do a search on this website for LG Washing machine and look at all the historical deals over the last few years. Never say never, but outside of Argos it's rare.

Can’t find anything to Stack with this at curry’s to bring it down to 300 to be very happy & risk it now.
There is 1 % cash back, that’s all I found on TopCashback.
Any recommended washer dryers?

This site brings out some strange people, if you want a cheaper product buy either a beko or hotpoint.
Or just pay the extra £30 and have a 5 year warranty for a very good washing machine
Not that long to go .. stranger things will be said 😏.. Black Friday madness.

Need to milk these big retailers. I don’t mind paying the extra 30 but as it’s close BF I will wait to see if any better deals come out.

Still have to pay for installation & removal of old machine so it’s closer to 400

Sorry but it's one of the easiest jobs you can do, disconnect the pipe, plug in and connect new pipe.

This deal wont be any cheaper in the black friday that's why theyve put the guarantee out that if it goes cheaper they will refund

It doesn’t have to be this machine specific, other retailers will have big promotions on, will wait & see what the best deal is in a week . If it’s still this one will take this

All washing machines are the same dimensions apart from the inner drum, lol.
Looks like the smart phone functionality only works in android..
This is also a cracking deal. Looks to have a few more features and 9kg capacity. Same 5 year warranty. Seems better value to me depending on what you want.
