From dance classics to chill-out playlists, hear every tune in greater detail with the LG XBOOM LK72B Bluetooth Traditional Hi-Fi System. Combining two full range speakers with a powerful subwoofer, this hi-fi has no problem matching crisp percussion with thunderous bass. That means you'll hear every detail of the song with great balance.

And with the Bass Boost+ setting cranking up low-end frequencies even further, the LG XBOOM LK72B is the ideal system for getting the party started.

No need to trail a huge wire from the hi-fi to the sofa. There's Bluetooth on-board, so you're able to connect your phone or tablet to your speakers from up to ten metres away. Whether you're chatting away at your house party, or relaxing with a podcast on the sofa, Bluetooth offers full control of your playlist without being tethered to your hi-fi.

If that's true RMS and not peak power output, it will be loud enough for most.

You'll be amazing at how little wattage people actually listen at. Marketing departments like to make you think you need 100watts a channel. For a speaker to be twice as loud it needs 10x the power put into it.

Most people using say bookshelf speakers and a good amp will watch TV using under 1 watt of power. Most probably don't go near the 40/60/80watts their amplifiers are rated for.

On the flip side, you don't want to be playing you amplifier at max as you'll get clipping and distortion might increase. Either way if that is properly RMS wattage, it should be fine

It will be, but if you're a considerate neighbor you'll think of that angle too. Going through insufferable pain at the moment with a neighbour who believes that he can buy street cred with poor quality wattage.
£45 for a hifi = crap!

I bet it's PMPO, aka nonsense.
Chavtastic
Good setup as desktop speakers, any advice? Is the middle speaker in the pic a sub which can be placed on the floor?
