Tried these screens out in a SKy 3D booth last year, not bad at all, never understood why they were not offered at the big stores that sell the £100 spec TVs as well.

Are these just out or old tech?

Just out in the last few weeks 2011 models, Got mine from John Lewis on saturday, Impressed so far well except for the small mark on the bezel which means Im now awaiting a replacement

Brilliant tv, good price as well. Got mine from RGB in Ilford for £1099, nice people and able to collect from them. This, with the £200 cashback works our cheaper than the 42 inch from other stores like Comet etc which only has £100 cashback..

The only thing that puts me off is the loss of resolution when viewing 3D stuff. Although I'd probably still prefer it to the glasses.

Shall stick with my 50" non-3D telly for now. Still not convinced 3D is worth it (or will be around!) in the long run.

Good price on the set though. (At least, with the cashback it is .... think it's been on here cheaper without it)

Def the cheapest so Far been keeping an eye on it, £1077 was the next cheapest and only lasted a day or so, Got mine for 1077 with 5 year warranty for that price!

I did a lot of research before I bought my TV

I bought the Sony 46nx713 3D LED which is superior to this set

Different technology. Your set is active 3D, this is passive (ie. no glasses required)

The image on the Sony is probably better, but if you have 10 mates round, unless you've spent a fortune on glasses, they won't all be watching in 3D with you.

Not really the best advice. Both sets need glasses.
Passive needs cheap glasses. Active needs expensive glasses.

Sorry. My bad. You are right .... this needs the £1 a pop glasses you get at the cinema, the Sony needs the £50+ powered glasses.

I tend to forget about the glasses with the passive sets as they're so cheap .....
