Exactly Easter school holidays for us. Seems a good deal for direct.
Handbaggage only, and seats allocated at check-in. 90 quid extra for checked luggage and seats which I just can't justify given we would only need 2 checked bags max and they can be added for 30 quid a leg (if I remember correctly)
Some.other dates available.but miles cheaper than other airlines, 100 quid each server same.flights on Virgin site
Edit My dates are 4-18 April

Costs you around a tenner to fly to dublin , then *for LAX) you fly back to heathrow and get on the SAME plane you would've booked to fly from anywhere but the entire flight costs heck of a lot less (even if you have to stay a night in dublin) That time of year you can pick up a rtn flight for around 300 quid (slightly more late april)
That time of year during day its on par with a nice summer day here , but the evening and early mornings the temp drops down a lot (feels like late autumn) You can definitely hit the beaches during the day .
I've often looked for Dublin flights to the US more for the pre customs clearance...but tbh never found any good ones during school holidays - seen good prices in term time though
Would welcome some alternatives or reasons....not somewhere I have looked at much in the past so don't really know the form for flight prices
Do you mean West Coat (CA) not Florida
Think he means it works for most US destinations.... Think supply and demand are one part but flying out of Dublin you don't pay as much tax
I meant in this instance WEST coast as you need to fly back to LHR first , but dublin does do direct east coast flights that are way cheaper than flying from uk
i've always found it cheaper , my normal times going are usually learly spring then mid june and around late aug/sept time
I think it is a total bargain for school holidyas and glad I pulled the trigger now they have gone up but was hoping for some useful comments to confirm...as can cancel in first 24 hrs....but alas nothing constructive
