"The PC-A10B is a full size ATX high-end PC case designed for professional level use, and is perfect for Gamers, System Builders, Audio Professionals & any other demanding PC user.
Built to a high specification using the best components available, this rugged and impressive case is capable of holding a whole plethora of components safely inside; With maximum motherboard space of 12x9.6 you can easily install the most up to date motherboards whilst still retaining space for water cooling or other cooling methods should you wish.
Due to the cases overall size, not only can you install lots of storage options - the case also has natural heat dispersion as components will not be held too close together, coupling this with an effective cooling system will provide optimal operation temperatures without the need to go overkill on extra system fans.
This case is finished to an exceptional standard in black brushed aluminum; the case also has a lockable front panel. As you can see from the images this case does come unbranded & will ship in a plain brown box - but we are able to provide Lian-Li badges should these be required (please specify when purchasing).
The cases have been altered from the standard factory specification allowing for extra customization and quiet operation, the fan & fan vent from the top of the case has been removed & all internal fans have been removed from the cases, this allows any system builders to easily install any existing cooling systems they may have in an already functioning system."

£30 is a no brainer.
Hot stuff!
don't think the door is sensible though as it inhibits airflow at the expense of fashion victim looks
agreed, they've removed the fans too, so you need to add the cost of those and a psu. though you have to add the psu to any decent case. this includes free postage so its pretty good
also this one looks a good price
im in 2 minds, aren't these copies - seller hasn't sold for 2 years
Yes, I posted that one on HUKD soon after I posted this one:
Lian-LI PC-32B HTPC / Rackmount Full Aluminium PC Case, Unbranded, Black - £25 delivered @ dv247ltd on eBay
Seemed to have 250 to begin with (can see the quantity remaining in one's 'Watched list')
Don't buy just because it seems like a bargain. Buy it if you are going to put it to good use.
crikey that's the size of my antec 900-2 and I have 6 drives in it with I think space for 4 more
Do take note that there are no fans, which will add another £10-15 to add your own.
This case came out in 2007 when things were not as advanced as they are today.
it does have a hidden door at the top with usb ports youtube.com/wat…-ps watch this it tells you all about it
Did not notice that the fans are removed, and already bought one... hopefully it still have all the frames, screws, etc.
Antec are not as good as it once was, the increasing price of metal and shipping make them all make the case thinner and not as strong as before.
They are not copies - they are 'OEMs', which Eclipse & Kustompcs also sell, but for a lot more (details in initial post as well):
eclipsecomputers.com/pro…10B
kustompcs.co.uk/aca…tml
The fact that they haven't sold for a long time is odd - although 16 April this year is when they got their last feedback. Not 2 years ago.
Antec make only steel cases. Lian Li make only aluminium ones - expensive, but the build quality is second to none. Can't compare the two really.
The Antec Performance cases should be "mostly" made of Aluminium. But yes, none of their cases compare to what Lian Li makes, when it comes to built quality.
These are OEMs with all the fans removed (the original slotted fan bay is over the PCI slots actually):
Quoted from one of those websites selling them for 3+ times the cost of this one:
"A second chance to pick up a classic case, with a really smart and simple exterior design, the PC-A10B looked a premium product, and it was - retailing at £150 previously. This OEM version lacks the Lian Li badge and case fans, but is otherwise identical to the original - essentially, these are units intended for use by another system builder to brand and configure themselves."
don't agree re: antec - I have an antec 900-2 case and although 3 or 4 years old its bomb proof. downside it weighs a ton with 6 disks, etc - proba not far off 20kg - but unlike lian li it has good ventilation. the lian li has a better disk drive caddy system though
screws are cheap too
Sorry my bad re: Fan above PCI Slots However it clearly states on this specific ebay listing "The cases have been altered from the standard factory specification allowing for extra customization and quiet operation, the fan & fan vent from the top of the case has been removed" and fails to make any mention re: the PCI cooling slot fan/fan holder presence and any hint towards the fan speed control switch.
However that said, for anyone looking to build a system from scratch this not a bad buy at all just bear in mind these doors are not reversible and for those with running systems its a case of "if it ain't broke....."
If it wasn't for the door being non reversible I may have given it a punt @ £30 knock off or genuine.
anyone know the maximum size of graphics card this takes?
Antec 1200 FTW
Probably a decent deal but I just don't like the look of this case tbh.
(since thats how china knocks are shipped (i mean from china here to the reseller not the end customer) the knock off and the logos in 2 different boxes (or the same on just not attached to the item), since if the logo / branding is not on the item its self its not counter-fitting) *if you need prove of this you can google your self for "unbranded iphones with badges can be added too" or high end copyed stuff like that since i cba, why prove junk to anyone here*
tho saying that china knock offs are some times just as good grade as the real deal,

edited to add more stuff , why i put in my own time to look for you
a seller that has only one feedback for selling in the past year, suddenly jumps back in the selling high end (unbranded items) or more to the point cheaply,
besides the one feedback this year in april has last feedback was 20-Oct-11 15:11, and the recent ebay id change never looks good
i would say common sense should say stolen ebay account via phishing to sell knock offs (maybe even self promoted by the op *or the op and all the rest of you as just silly about how to use ebay, im undecided*, since most people check feedback before doing anything with ebay, and old accounts coming back to life are never good)
since i have nothing better to do i might find and post the china source for the cases, and i bet that the listing wording is the same to the word, since resellers are normally just copy and paste lazy people, tho ofc the seller could just be taking the cash and running (mainly thinking this since even the knock off on china sites start at £40), since more than liking as said its a phished ebay,
-
also the contact details for ebay altho close to right are wrong on the site that he claims to be, dv247.com (music stuff mostly sold)
so the type of thing sold is wrong to, (witch i also note they dont sell the case on dv247.com so, surely if they ware who they say they are they would sell the case off of ebay to save fees lol
also the free shipping when to ship these would cost £15 or so says something wrong, unless you telling me that hes going to sell at a lost after item cost (even if they the cheapest knock off you can can get, even lain lis cost to make them is more likely more than what his profit would be if he was really selling them), since the profit each save after fees and £15 as a guide line shipping cost this is counting the item as free of cost to him is £11.08

oh well i'll sit back and get a cold one ready to watch this all fall apart for all those to simple minded to check in a few days time (what fun the moan will be cos of the lack of common sence),
since the only way your going to get a real case is if they are stolen (in witch case i dont your'd keep it long)
tho im still saying its phishing and you wont get anything but a paypal case and a refund in the end
currently the sellers up £1740 (even didnt add the total sales together from all listing he has) before ebay does anything will probly be 5 - 6K, since simple phished account so cut all the paypal to bank ties take the money close the account and paypal eats the lose / refund the buyers that didnt receive anything,
if phishing didnt have a decent profit margin in it why do you think we all get some many paypal / ebay phishing mails
My comment is based on mine Antec P280 Performance Series PC Tower Case, which compares to older models which my friends have. I am recommended by one friend to buy Antec, and turns out not as solid as before. Design is good, thin steel sometimes makes noises.
