In light of recent prices, this represents a very good deal. Hawt.

Thanks for the heads up.
Last time there was a similar deal I couldn't get one - fingers crossed this time.

probably wont have many as seems to be old stock that went unsold? good price though either way.

1 or 2 per store, just to drag you in....

Just checked online under my postcode...none in on the 8th

Great price, This would be very handy, so it'll be worth taking a look to see if our nearest store gets them in. Cheers!

Subbed so I can read people whining on the 8th that the deal doesn't exist X)

Good price for those that get one though (_;)

Sweet, my local seems to be getting them in. Very tempting!

Awesome deal, I hope the branch near me gets them

Well I know my rights if its advertised and they don't have them in my local that's it im taking them to court under the Unlawful deal Advertisement (uda) act

probably being an idiot here but how can I check if a particular store will be getting stock?

Click the goto deal, and then put in your postcode .

It wasn't all that long ago I paid £80 for 320GB portable HD!

++Heat

Are they any good though......?

Tempted because its a good deal, I don't really need it though and it would be hassle to keep in sync with my standard media drives.

Going to pop in on the 8th for this. Is this a 2.5" sata drive inside ?

Thank you for this op. Been looking for a decent priced hdd.

showing my nearest store already but can't seem to see if they'll be getting them in stock or not

at this price..I don't think people would really care about their quality.. plus they have not 1, but 3 years of manufacturer's guarantee on it.

It's showing the correct store for me and the item is coming up but what deal is it part of?

For 8/12 I've got gift ideas (it's not there), flowers and style and comfort

hot but littlw chance of getting one even if you camp outside the store, they normally only get a few items per store(if any) and just tell you sold out!!!

Heat added

bonus my local is getting them and my best mate is store manager so just reserved mine cheers

That's a good deal. If you reckon (before the price rises) a good 1TB price was £40, 500GB was always more than half. And in fact it's USB powered so that's another plus point. Anyway worrabout the espresso machine with 3 year warranty on the same offer day- that's a hot deal too for just £40 (apart from the steamer being on the wrong side!)

As it's showing on the net with your postcode it means they will be getting them in.

Its an external drive so i would assume its a 2.5"

Bargain, at this price

A good 1tb Desktop sized external was £40. A 1tb portable external was much more, and I think the 500 was probably about the same as this deal. So considering prices these days I think this is a cracking deal....

Hot from me and they have them local, not sure if i need one though

Clue is in the description - 'with practical USB power supply' (_;)

Tried three London stores and not at any of them. Oh well, good deal for those that can get it.

Was just going to point out you'd probably only checked by postcode. Old member fail X)

Seems that my local shop will be getting those. I'm going to hunt for one.

8am Thursday MK Lidl - that's where I will be
