Back on offer from Thursday I think this is a good price and in my opinion the onions are good quality as they last weeks unlike some that start rotting after a week.

Isn't this is the normal price at any cash n carry place or market??

nobody could eat that many! lol
Last 5kg bought from Lidl many weeks past, I am still using & perfect condition, kept in a cool place.
I also buy the Lidl red onions when they are on offer & last ages too.
Great deal.... bought some from Asda yesterday at 98p kg.
hot
onions go well with everything hot
These would be good to practice your chopping skills as well, no waste!

this pricing seems wrong to me, why would anyone by 10KG for 2.99 while they can buy 2*5KG for 1.98 ??
Yup, far superior quality to the main supermarkets, and last longer. If anything they seem to look "too good" as in they might be GM but i could be wrong.
Did my usual caremalised onions with these when they were 2 quid and can confirm not one bad onion in the 5kg. Still got a few jamjars full, love the stuff on anything I eat!! Except corn flakes and possibly cheesecake
Tesco do these for 10p more if you can't get to a Lidl , ordered mine for home delivery with my usual online grocery shop ; tesco.com/gro…967

The difference is in the quality, and until we get to know where we can get them at that price it dont mean nothing to me.

But then your 25kg bags are more expensive just admit you plucked the figures out of thin air

So why would anyone buy 25kg for £4.50 when you can get 2x10kg and a 5kg for £4.37?

....i had to!

That's my nephew and niece's christmas stockings sorted then! Merry Christmas...one and all!!

Where exactly? Or is this just in your own head?
You can chop them up and freeze them.
Great for chilli's, curries and stews.
Ideal for making curry base. Litres and litres of the stuff for the freezer..
lidl's organic onions are worth buying IMO - AROUND 70P PER BAG
