Not sure as I've not tried it tbh. I tend to make ours fresh at home. Might be worth a try at this price...

thanks,

good deals,
Savera paneer is currently @1.25 at Tesco too if anyone needs them.

Burrrh

Majority of the stuff we make at home but might try a few things to see how they compare.

the prices are more like a rip off...would never buy this stuff at these prices...

I can recommend the deluxe curry sauces. Even at £1.29 they are worth it and definitely worth trying at 99p. Best jar of tikka masala you can buy imo.

Thanks, I will definitely try them next week...

Really? Onions on offer because it is Asian week?

Heck, we all need to eat moe from the onion family. They are magic for heart and health. Asian week or otherwise.

Get what you pay for. Buy cheap tastes cheap.

The Chef's Select curries are the best ready meal curries I've tasted. Much better than even M&S.

How ironic, a brand snob on a money saving website. (_;)

I'd have to disagree with that. I've tried some of the flavours and they were definitely inferior to similar products at Sainsbury's etc. They weren't terrible just a bit bland. I had a tin of curry from either Lidl or Aldi ( I think it was Lidl) and I have to say it was the worst curry I ever tasted. It had mint added to the flavour and tasted like toothpaste. It was vile. I know people like to justify their Lidl purchases but I have to say its a minefield finding the good products within so many bad products. The same is true of many of their processed foods which are poor quality. They seem better at other products rather than processed foods which are often terrible.

Also it annoys me their use of fake brands. Instead of lidl or aldi baked beans for example they have labels like 'sunny farm' but they are often worse than the value brands of other supermarkets.

Sometimes it seems like your only one step away from foragging in dustbins like some desperate raccoon when your at Lidl's as some of the food is so awful but you get to learn what is good and then it can be very good value. I tend to avoid most of their processed foods though.

Bit of Asian. Bit of Far East.

A confused offer

Not really imo, I mean is Japan, China etc not part of Asia?

I'm sure people had this argument last time.
