Same here. In Portugal and Spain lidl's all the bakery section is covered. They must just think we are all dirty buggers here in the UK
Is this really a ‘HotUK’ deal?

Lidl frequently have bakery offers, not sure it’s worthy of posting on here. I certainly don’t feel I would have bagged a bargain because I’ve saved 38p on two slices of pizza...

ive always known them to be 2 for £1
Do these have mushrooms on them?

There are usually bits of mushroom hidden on Asda veggie pizzas; just when I think I have found them all!

The offer comes and goes, it's just been started again so should be around for a week at least.

I'm not a fan of mushrooms and have had these before, I don't think they have any mushrooms on them.

Well it is a saving, just because the initial price is low doesn't mean that it can't be a deal. This is a 28% saving

It’s a 19p saving per slice of pizza...

Supermarkets are riddled with ‘better than half price offers’, which are therefore a more than 50% saving! (current example - Oreo biscuits at Tesco).

My point is, these type of posts clog up the site which (IMO) should be for real ‘hot’ deals. This deal isn’t hot as there are many better ones in many other supermarkets on a daily basis...

Tbh, there's a lot of other "deals" on here that most people wouldn't call deals, so its each person's opinion. Just because you aren't going to buy this doesn't mean others won't, and that they wouldn't be happy to know more about it.

I agree though that the bakery deals should be in one post, but I suppose it depends on when each thing was reduced in price.
Aldi is the same.

Kindest regards

I agree that maybe a separate area for all ‘food deals’ would be a good idea for people wanting to save on their food shop.

However, my point remains that the this simply isn’t a ‘hot’ deal - 28% off (or better) can be found many times over in any supermarket aisle. When I click ‘hottest’ I want to see real and rare deals, not 19p off pizza...

Agreed, leave the pathetic tight fisters to rummage around for hours driving to 6 tescos because someone posted a store specific ,one off reduced freezer item for 50p.

I might start posting deals like that just to waste sad peoples time.

Thats us sorted an "eating out" Sunday lunch then!

This and a couple of bottles of cheap lager in the car park - what could be better?

Could never buy something that's sat out on display. At lease with fruit you can wash it.
Bogeys are a legitimate pizza topping these days. But I've yet to find the perfect companion ingredient. Ham and Pineapple, Bogeys and....

Pubes?

Usually bakery offers are on for 6/8 weeks, as long as there are no supplier issues (lidl Baker)

Sometimes I pick them up and put them back just for fun.

When did everyone become so precious over food?
Lovely these if you don’t mind them being fingered (hehe) and dropped on the follow then put back countless times before you get to them!

I don't have a Waitrose locally so I've never been, but is there even any supermarket that covers their stuff? I've been in all the others and none of them do.

Exactly, but only Lidl bakery deals get these kind of comments.

I personally have never seen anyone pick something up and then put it back without the tongs.
I wouldn't buy food at all if I was some of you guys......pretty much all food will be out in the open at some point or other from the procssion, warehousing, logistics and even on the shopfloor, so endless bogeys and flys have been eaten by you all.

I mean seriously, your produce is GROWN out of the ground....doesn't exactly kill you..
The cookies are the best
See it all the time. And agreed this isn't exactly what you wanna see on here when you're looking for a "deal". They alternate the 2 for 1's .. Couple weeks back it was Pain Au chocolat 2 for 1.

These are "ok" if you don't mind them being soggy on the bottom after a while. Get in there as soon as it opens and everything is still warm and fresh and less chance of the kids fingering the stuff before you buy..

All the bakery stuff in my local Tesco's superstore is either bagged or in a plastic box.
