Plenty and generally regarded as "The Best Dashcam for money". Techmoan the YouTuber extensively reviews cameras and dashcams and provides an in-depth review of it. High regarded too.

That's the one
Techmoans review of the GW1 was about 3 years ago and dashcams have moved on massively since then..
Also it doesn't look it in the pics but it is a fairly large camera and not easy to conceal from prying eyes!
Who cares about hiding it though? It's only a £29 camera, maybe if you like driving past schools you might want to conceal it, can't think of any other reason.
So that someone doesn't put your window in for it when you park in a public car park .
Doesnt bother me because I would personally hide even the most inconspicuous camera when leaving the car in a public car park . But some people would not want to be taking it down and putting it up all the time
Yes i agree as a Techmoan subscriber but none of the tested cameras come with a 3yr warranty and at a £30 price.
The lidl one's video quality should be adequate even if its not as good as better newer cameras.
ahem........
Hope this is better but I doubt it.
Because you don't want your window smashed in by some junkie who things he might be able to get a fiver for it, although my father has had a G1WH, which is basically the same as the G1W, but is in a all black case and without the shiny chrome ring around the lens so it is a bit less noticeable, and it has been mounted on his windscreen for two years and nobody has nicked it.
Also, if you are involved in a collision if the other party sees you have a camera they might try to knick it if they are at fault, or drive off, and might make more effort to make any lies they make to insurance or police fit what you camera might have recorded. I've seen footage of a driver punching a cyclist and stealing his camera in an attempt to cover his bad driving and the assault on the cyclist up (fortunately the police stopped him before he had disposed of the camera).
If I recall correctly, I think the last two 1080p dashcams sold by Lidl turned out to be 720p and at least one of them recorded in MJPEG. So I doubt it too.
Don't bother pointing it out, some people only learn the hard way!
Food is garbage?
I'd say I'm pretty fussy about the quality of my food and I can assure you there is nothing garbage about the majority of the food in Aldi or Lidl - they are the only two supermarkets I buy meat and bacon from as the others are pumped full of water. Cheese is as nice as anywhere else, the cooked meats are far cheaper and of better quality than the major supermarket stuff and the juices and cordials are no better or worse than any other brands.
Their fresh fruit and veg lasts far longer than anything I've bought from Asda and the baked in store bread from Lidl is absolutley amazing. As are the croissants.
I don't really do tinned or frozen stuff other than ice cream so can't really comment on those other than the Aldi 'Magnums' and white chocolate and strawberry lollies are better than any I've ever had from Walls etc.
I've had quite a few tools from both places and whilst not Snap On quality they've been ok and only really failed when pushed very hard. The electrical goods are as good as any non major brand and the odd bit of clothing I've had has been good for the money. My campervan tv is great, just as good as the one I left in my other van and it was about a third cheaper.
I suggest you try them (again?) before slagging them off.
so it doesnt get stolen maybe duh
Personally wouldn't recommend those eprance ones. We've had 3 of them and all have failed outside of warranty (1 year), footage was great when it worked but they never kept correct time. Two failed just with a blue screen the other kept corrupting memory cards.
Since then we have a Garmin one, a transcend and a next base, all bought from Halfords when on offer and touch wood no problems.
With a 3 year warranty this is quite a good deal
Search eBay for g1w it's the best dashcam your money can buy you and cheapest
+1 there, been using it for over 2 years, works great with the super capacitor.

Battery has just given up on mine and gearbest don't have stock
Message these guys: ebay.com/usr…365 (they are an official reseller of Mobius) and they will sell you an upgraded 820mAh battery for about £5, they also throw in a free case (because its safe for the battery and gets past customs!) adds quite a bit extra to the battery life, gets almost 2.5 hours.
Thanks I've messaged them
if your using the mobius you as a dash cam, you should really consider removing the battery and replacing with the super capacitor. the battery is not designed for power on with ignition. I went through 2 batteries before I read up about it. if your using it only on battery power then it's fine, but if using it on a USB to start with the ignition then super capacitor is the way to go.
This camera didn't get hot when it was posted 4 days ago, in fact it got pretty cold:- hotukdeals.com/dea…319
