lidl do great instore breads and deal prices too, like a tiger loaf for 50p

Good price. Tried the new rustic loaf last week and really nice

Those are really nice but is it me or has anyone else noticed that they are a bit shorter than they used to be when came first with the bakery opened.?
Liked the bakery at the beginning as it offered a great value for money with "so many" for a pound offers. Now the prices are without those offers suddenly the value is not so good when you consider your lovely, crusty roll is so fluffy it hardly contains any "substance". I am big fun of value for money shopping and used Lidl and Aldi since they opened years ago so not criticising in general just being watchful of how good deals transform over time into not as good as it was at first any more.

these are Soooooo nice. thanks for posting

Lidl has got a great bakery range, its cookies & pastries are fantastic and its rolls etc are lovely.

I'm quite the expert when it comes to store baked cheese twists. I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that these are above average quality for such a product

The cheese that is used is flavourful without being overpowering. The salt content is about right and the bread keeps it all together without being too crumbly.

I feel I really should mention that these are of a slightly different consistency to your typical cheese twist. They're much softer and less flaky. This is good as they make less mess but many people prefer a bit of bite in their twist so I thought it best that I mention it here so that everyone knows what they're getting into before committing to a purchase.

If flaky cheese twists are your thing, I'd recommend the twists at your local Co-Operative. They're slightly more pricey than the Lidl delicacy and they can lead to embarrassing crumbs on your polo shirt so there is a trade off there.

All in all I think I'd score the Lidl cheese twist at 6.8/10.

Thanks professor cheese twist.
Maybe you should write a book about it. Oh sorry, you pretty much already did.

Love Lidl bakery

Love their cheese twists, like to follow them with one of their chocolate twists. Cheers OP.

The ones that look a bit like savory chelsea buns are good too. Cheese and tomato, think they might be margherita swirls or something like that. About 50p each and tasty.

have to say that m&s cheese twists are the best yum!

This offer is store specific. I have been to about 4 different stores recently and only one of them had the 2 for £1 offer.

have got to say you will not want to have a cheese twist from anywhere else once you have had a m&s cheese twist there sooo good ! X)

Delicious. Didn't know they did a chocolate twist too

Having googled them up I can say that's pushing it ever so slightly.

The M&S ones have onions in them which is not a good thing imho.

I had 2 of these yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed them.
