Been buying these for ages. Old news!!

Hmmmm .... I bet you just make negative comments on threads here. Seeing as you've posted absolutely no deals in the last 8 years!

Same price as Aldi’s version

Have you tried them? I prefer these ones over the McVitie's. Also, Lidl's Rich Tea are the best and only 29p per 300g. Can't go wrong.
Been this price for months. I literally eat the whole pack when I have them.
They're brilliant and we think are just slightly better too

Yup. I'm always a little disappointed with McVities ones having tried these.
Same price in Asda last time I checked. I always pick some up
Takes care of my total RDA. Thanks Op:)
Asda’s version is the same price and nearly as good as McVities chocolate hobnobs, the branded version just a little superior imo!

Yes, but they haven't been posted for 6 months - it's just to remind people and to let people know that didn't before.

After a great deal of research I agree that there are better then the imitation ones that McvVties make

Try the shortbread, they do a Luxury one for a quid and a pack of their ordinary ones for about 45p, the cheaper ones are actually a lot nicer than some of the more better known brands that Ive tried.

Agreed, Kev. Plus their Rich Tea at 29p are excellent.
Usually buy a packet when in a Lidl. Also the normal oaties for 36p.
All Lidl's biscuits are very good and well priced...their dark chocolate digestives are lovely, the oaties are nice as well.
Been this price for many months

The reason for the cheap price is because late last year ASDA bought theirs down to 42p I think (cheaper than choc digestives makes no sense) so eventually Lidl bought theirs down to match

Do they do dark chocolate versions of these?
Bah don't go telling everyone, bet they'll be out of stock next time I go in now
I reckon their better more crunch man

All part of the food chain.

Sun → Tea → Biscuit → Human
Love the plain ones, IMO taste much better than hobnobs
Nah i personally rather mcvitees ones. These taste as dry as old boots
I keep telling you people: I'm on a diet. I wish you'd be more supportive.

If you do, let us know how you get on. There seems to be a bit of a Fan Club on here for them!
How dare you post a cheap and very delicious biscuit deal when Diabetes is a huge problem in the western world, I hold you personally responsible for the Diabetes Epidemic! Hold your head in shame sir!

These have been 41p in Aldi for ages. I'm sure these were 55p in the local Lidl last Satdy. This may require further investigation. Do Lidl sell wheelbarrows?

Anyhow - these are identical to the Aldi ones in my considered experience. Superior in every way to the McVites ones, and my preferred choccy oat biscuit.

Heat from me.

Maybe you were just unlucky with one pack, perhaps at 41p it's time for a second look? I've never found these dry, even when I eat the whole packet. Which usually happens every time I open a packet.
Asda do the same for same price fyi.
And yes they are pretty damn good. (also no palm oil or dodgy high fructose corn syrup)

I am a type 1 diabetic (and have been for many years) and I buy loads of these because 1 biscuit = 10 units of carbohydrate so when my blood sugar level starts to fall I can very quickly calculate how many oaties I need to eat to get it back up to the correct level. And of course they have the added advantage of tasting delicious!
Eating some now..
