I know this isn't the cheapest Champagne deal, but this one is a bargain. This Champagne has won awards and gets almost perfect reviews online.

Is this reduced then, or is this just the usual price? It is a nice tipple though.

"Perfect reviews"... "Bargain"... "Nice tipple"... "won awards"... Champagne... sounds like a deal to me (not everything has to be reduced or discounted for it to be a deal). Buying some tomorrow, never had it, but £10.99 can't go wrong with the above statements!

Yeah shame its still not under a tenner
But there is no better Champagne out there for the current price. I can't find any.

Not bragging ( actually I am) picked up about 40 bottles of this at 3.99 last winter during their clearance

I didn't say it did, but I wanted to know whether it was worth making a specific trip to stock up. I would hate to see the site turn into "Hot UK thing I quite like” though.

Aldi do a great sparkling Chardonnay that's as good this for £7.99. Traditional method, just not from the Champagne region. Tesco own Brut Cava is also v. good at about a fiver, if you're not worried about the name.

I think you could say this about most champagne. There is usually a sparkling wine for much cheaper that is higher quality. The reason I posted this deal is because sometimes on special occasions you want to offer your guests champagne. Also this one gets great reviews for the price. You can spend alot more, but may not get as good or you can spend alot less and not impress your guests with a Tesco basic brut.

I do agree. I'm on the look out for a champagne deal so I can stock up ahead of hosting Christmas. No need to head out now for this Champagne at this price though. Fingers crossed a better deal arrives in the next 6 weeks or so :-)
