I buy mines either from Asda or Morrisons - thanks though as do have a Sainsburys near me

Thats some cheap cobbing. i will be getting some in.

thanks

19p is around the current wholesale price for Corn so a good price , remeber to eat as quick as possible as when harvested the sugars start to tuen to starch pretty damn quick.

are they already cleaned or have they still got the leaves on them? I always buy the ones with leaves still on as the Guinea Pigs go mad for them and it's rubbish otherwise...

Looking at the picture they still have leaves on

Cool, ta 2 birds one stone

I hope they are not sans leaves. LIDL usually sell corn in awful vacuum packs in pairs. Wouldn't touch them. The ones on the picture are ok.

Last time I bought corn in Lidl it was very nice and had leaves on them. However, we bought so many we got sick of them! ha ha - so, buy in moderation is the key!

However the grocers are now presenting them in 'ready to roast' formats and inundating the market.

The two cheapo tomato plants I got from Lidl have given me absolutely loads of lovely tomatoes this summer.

Good deal on the corn. Average cost elsewhere is 40p. Rest do not look such a good deal.

Love em... will be nipping in Friday to get some @ this price -;-)
Lidl's is fantastic btw

Apologies to customers of the Dura Street, Dundee Lidl, but I've just snapped up 10 of the corn cobs for my weekend barbecue. There's a few smaller ones left though.
