Super weekend deals have all but disappeared now. Save up to 50%??? The Chutney is 50% everything else is 25% (A little moe for the cheese). The super weekend deals used to be a brilliant but I find my trips to Lidl becoming less and less these days!
I tend to find Lidl Deals aren't great anymore, for example mangos are 59p at Tesco or 65p at Marks, 4 cobettes of corn 97p,

Has anyone seen any of the weekly cheap wine in store recently?

Was just about to post something like this! I've added Heat to this deal because @andreocean goes to so much trouble, but I agree with you that their "Super" Weekend Deals really haven't been great for a while now.
Must go to check out their offerings for Greek week! The Cretan blossom honey is really worth its money and tastes fantastic.
I got the easy peelers yesterday. Awful. Thick skin, thick pith very attached and difficult to remove without breaking the flesh.

It is I have it on yoghurt and figs. I am gutted that they don’t appear to be doing the moussaka this time around. It is the nicest one I’ve ever tasted outside of Greece. Such a shame. Heat from me

The leaflet only shows a selection of Greek stuff so moussaka might be there you just have to look in store
Lidl in Leicester told me there's a glitch with the Super weekend offers, not scanning at the offer price and I would have to come back later on today or tomorrow, not sure if its just Leicester or not

I only have the one Lidl where I live so couldn’t try in a different store.
The guy at checkout who I confirmed the price with said the same thing you heard - that it was a problem with the offer, although he didn’t know if it would work at all
Steak was spot on!

Did you manage to get hold of the sausages with leek? Loukanika Tzoumayas (Tzoumagias is the spelling), they are 600g a pack! Not bad at all, and they are from my home town of Thessaloniki, Greece

They're a new addition. They've done away with the Cretan blossom honey for now, but I've got 5 jars squirreled away There's Polish honey leftover stock floating around from a passed Polish week. Might give that a go, I really love their deli meat that I buy from Home Bargains (and have been buying from assorted Polish delicatessens for years).

There was apparently frozen gyros in a bag, but I couldn't find any. Could only find the gyros pizza which didn't seem to have a great deal on it, so I didn't bother purchasing.

Thanks for this. We have some of the frozen gyros but yet to try. We often do Greek nights I repped there for years in the 90’s and 00’s and the food always brings back happy memories. Should’ve been there this week but hey ho. Thanks again.

If you could read Greek there are food blogs where you can also make your own gyros Back a few years ago Iceland sold frozen gyros that was endorsed by Peter André, since he is Greek origin

Alas I can’t read Greek. Might google gyros one day and have a go. At the mo I doubt I’d have the patience - home schooling has taken all my patience away right now

Try:

When you have the patience. He does nice Greek food with a bit of a modern twist to many of his things, but best thing is that he has fans outside Greece (ladies) and so all his recipes are also in English, can't remember if the instructional video is the same either.
