Never ceases to amaze me that we can get decent chorizo in the UK, at a price that is often better than that in Spain and Portugal!
I guess someone out there will have an answer and if so, I am all ears....
🔥 thanks for the illustrated heads up

Loved going to Aldi in Salou - the choice of the Cho-ree-tho was mindblowing! I'm away to Lidl in Kirkcaldy tomorrow though and will go out and in so I can procure 12 of these tho!
Not really, you can find chorizos in Spain from 5 EUR /kg, but no every chorizo tastes the same.
Is this a good chorizo?
will get 2 then just need the 1kg bag of scallops from local fish merchant and thats christmas dinner sorted for us.
thanks op love this! been eating it in Mallorca from Lidl there!

That looks yummy 😜
I make a half decent casserole/stew with Chicken pieces, fried sliced chorizo, fried red and yellow peppers, onions and garlic and with a tin of chickpeas and another of chopped tomato mixed in. Rice, salad and crusty bread and it's a great meal.

The pigs didn't live happy lives, is the simple answer.
i always stock up on these, super handy for pizza toppings, chucking in a paella or spicy stew or just slice thickly and bung in oven for a few minutes till fat starts to come out then add some sweet chilli sauce or honey in and put back in for a bit longer. remember to cut along the side of bit you use and peel skin off as it goes chewy but don't peel it off unused bits or it sweats oil and dries out.

wouldn't call the spicy one as as spicy or nice as aldi's (though nicer than plain IMO) but beats all other supermarkets, and at half the price or less.

Substitute the chickpeas for butter beans and you're on to a winner, save the chickpeas to roast up to sprinkle on the top for a bit of crunch.

Serve with couscous rather than rice, yummy

Don’t like Either thanks , but live and let live...and between us we’re spreading some recipe ideas on here, which is always better than the pointless arguments that often get posted and distract from a great offer, so peace and respect to you...(y)

I can't tell you because I rarely go shopping at Lidl. Aldi or sainsbury's chorizos are average, but good enough for cooking.
Like the spicy chorizo morenout the 2 . Always stock up when it’s on the super weekend
